These are dreadful pushy telesales.
These are pushy sales people and are dreadful to deal with especially if you don’t want to answer their questions. It turns out they're not scammers, but terrible sales people, with a very low TrustPilot review score.
If you do answer their questions and are eligble for their life insurance review they are pushing, they will then forward you to a respectable UK company called Waddle, who have a 4.9 trust pilot review score, and a polite handler to speak too. Having expressed my disgust as the link they have with these dreadful, pushy, rude tele-handlers that are Sensible.com, the Waddle agent was very apologetic and understood my concerns.
Sensible.com, act so poorly on the phone if you don't immediately drop everything and answer their cold call questions, and become abusive before hanging up. They lie about you being in their system even when you provide false details. One handler was so annoyed at me not answering these questions he got into an argument with me over why I should do so. I then told him to remove me from the system he angrily said ‘No, I will not remove you from my system and will keep calling you’ before hanging up on me. He did call me the following week, the same guy, claiming he’d never called me before. But that Indian accent with a hint of South African is very distinctive. I did actually receive 2 or 3 calls from other agents, between this guy’s calls, each time asking to be removed from their system, but that didn't happen.
All of the reviews I read on TrustPilot, regarding Sensible, mirrored my own experiences. I’m baffled at why Waddle would want to associate themselves with such a dreadful call centre and risk their good reputation.
