I love what it did to help me recognize the flaw in my pitch. I only was able to get a partial review unlike some other companies who offer other services beyond the initial that this company offered. They did; however, offer to resubmit for revaluation since I determined that I had submitted to the wrong genre. I think what hurt was that it seems more negative in my eyes on the whole, the analysis, and it made me feel overwhelmed knowing I had so much to correct. It’s a pretty good evaluation though, if you can take critiquing with thicker skin than mine. 🤣

The evaluation was consistent and really engaged with the script. Will use again.

ScriptAccess delivered exactly what I want from script feedback: clarity. The notes were organized, specific, and easy to act on, with a balanced look at both what’s working and what isn’t. The strengths were called out with real detail, so I knew what to protect in the rewrite, and the weaknesses were framed constructively, with concrete observations instead of vague criticism. Nothing felt padded or generic; every note pointed back to the page. As a producer who reads a lot of coverage, I appreciated how quickly I could absorb the feedback and turn it into a plan. Highly recommended for any writer or producer who wants straight, thoughtful notes they can actually use.

Many coverage services offer script notes, but they often miss the elements that truly define a screenplay. The ScriptAccess report demonstrated a clear understanding of both my characters and the underlying conflicts that form the foundation of the story. Just as importantly, it provided thoughtful, actionable recommendations that helped identify specific opportunities to strengthen the script.

I’ve tried most of the AI coverage programs out there. In fact…probably all of them. Scores aside, what every screenwriter should be looking for is quality feedback that will help improve your script ..not your score. This has been the best I’ve tried so far.

Following our evaluation of RAVENSHADE, a Gaelic folk horror feature in development.

I was highly impressed by the review from ScriptAccess. It got straight to the heart of the story and understood the stakes and the dynamics instantly. In terms of perceptiveness, it was far superior to most of the professional human reads I've had - the only reader who returned feedback on a similar level was an established Producer.

The feedback was extremely useful, both positive and negative. The identified weaknesses were aligned with those that my development team have already identified (it's part of a trilogy so some things are unresolved), and have highlighted those areas we need to focus on in bringing the script to life.

There were even some revelations that I had not noticed myself - for example, the dynamics and arcs of certain minor characters; it was very effective at picking out their individual stories and highlighting the important roles that they play. This will be most useful when giving character notes to the actors that we end up casting.

I can't recommend this service highly enough. It's clear, quick, unbiased, and genuinely useful - as opposed to what one usually gets: a slow and frustrating dissection by someone who didn't read it properly. ScriptAccess may be the next best thing to getting a serious industry professional's eye on your script. What happens next is up to you.
