This is some joke I order parcel with clothing and I waiting already 2 weeks for parcel and still not get it. On the website they promise 2-3 working days is a joke. I will not recommend Screwfix at all!

I ordered a reciprocating saw with 2 packs of different blades
One of them was missing from a box. I contacted them by email and never had any replies. Not even for multiple emails.Zero communication.
Horrible customer service. Never buy from them again.
Disgraceful
By far the most unpleasant company I have had the displeasure of dealing with. Do not go near them with a barge pole. Still losing money due to either their incompetence or intentional games. Personally I think someone is just having a laugh at my expense because no one transaction could genuinely be riddled with such a catalogue of incompetence and failures. And don't be fooled by the "sorry to hear, please write to sos@@screwfix.com" that they normally write after this type of feedback. That's just for trustpilot consumption, nobody answers.
Ordered 4 bags self leveller
Ordered 4 bags self leveller, asked could I use trolley to take them to my van was told no health and safety, the staff then watch me walk to my van four times thanks Screwfix you haven’t got a patch on Toolstation.
Downhill.
Screwfix has introduced yet another lane. One for order in store, one for click and collect, one for a different click and collect method. And then there's a separate trade counter. But nothing's changed - three counters all occupied by people ordering in store, or with questions. The queues ignored or not understood. After 10 minutes I walked out.
Collect next day has stretched to 48 hours. Prices have become less competitive. No access to my account on line so I can't access my credit balance unless I shop in store.
Shame really
Disgusting language
I had an on-line account with Screwfix and have bought lots using it in order to renovate my own home and also to maintain, refurbish and improve my rental properties. I also buy items to use in a special school where I work and make things with my students.
Several months ago, I was disgusted to find an adhesive product called “Sticks Like S**t” on Screwfix’s website. (Except their final word includes the letter ‘h’. I can’t put that here as Trustpilot quite rightly deems it be inappropriate language, even with the asterisk). I emailed screwfix to ask why one earth they would have such a vulgar, coarse and foul-languaged product for sale. I pointed out that I would not want my rental property families or their children seeing a product like that in my mastic gun and certainly not at the school where I work where we do our best to discourage bad language and vulgarity. I mean…..WHY have a product with that name? Do Screwfix think their client base are all coarse, vulgar clods who will find that appealing? Or, heaven forbid, amusing?
I received a reply from Screwfix which said that “it’s a popular product which sells”. That was it.
Yesterday, I came to place another order at Screwfix on-line, including glue, decorator’s caulk, some tools, a heat gun etc. Once again, I was presented with this disgustingly-named product. I emptied my shopping basket and went to Toolstation and my local independent builder’s merchant and spent over £200 with them instead.
I have since phoned Screwfix and asked them to cancel my account and, under GDPR regulations, erase all my data from their servers. I won’t ever buy anything from Screwfix again. The person I spoke to to request this didn’t even ask why….
When I go shopping for property maintenance items, tools and all the things which are sold in many other outlets, I do NOT expect to see disgustingly-named products like this. I am happy to pay more, if necessary, to buy elsewhere and, as I explained to customer services, price is NOT everything.
I’m finished with Screwfix and, only this evening, spent £169 on a stainless steel sink for one of my properties…NOT bought from Screwfix. I’m finished with them
NOTE: I posted this review several days ago. No response whatsoever from Screwfix. Not even the generic, please email SOS Screwfix etc. I see from the responses that Screwfix waxes eloquently when the review is praising them, but when criticising them it’s always the generic response or, in my case and others, no response at all. This confirms my decision not ever to purchase from them again.
NOTE 2
Still not a peep from Screwfix here. Not even the generic one. I’m very disappointed as I was looking forward to their explanation (on a public forum) of why they stock a product with a disgusting, unappealing name.
This evening I paid £305 for a Franke sink for one of my rental properties. NOT with Screwfix again
NOTE 3
Come on, Screwfix, you’re answering praise reviews with gushing thanks, so are reading reviews, right? Still no comment from anyone regarding the above.

Customer service is really poor, waited fours day for a delivery and organised door and window fitting around the delivery, one item was missing from the order so i called screwfix (10 minutes waiting) and was told I needed to call parcel force. I called parcel force (20min waiting) was told that they never received the 5th item.
After several back and forth calls with me getting frustrated waiting every time, I got cut off when I asked to speak to a manager. It was at this point I became incensed and called back for a refund.
I could write an epic about what was said and not said but what was evident is that the reps dont know how parcel deliveries work, cant be bothered to make the calls on behalf of the customer and feel confident enough to hang up on them when they're annoyed, (no bad language or threats).
After years and thousands of pounds being spent at Screwfix it ends today, low cost they are but the measure of a good company is how they deal with problems, they could contact Axminster tools who could teach them a thing or two.
staff shortage
once again went to pick up my order up on click and collect 3 people in the queue. the customer at the till was ordering as he stood at the till after 10 to 15 mins of waiting i asked if they had anyone else to serve the reply was sorry no one else is in to help serve.!! honestly screw fix get some staff off furlough to help run the stores and keep your customers happy
Stock
I used to use screwfix a lot but I have given up on them they have really gone down hill lately they never seem to have stock of what I need or they have some of my order but not all . Have to wait days for what I need or the nearest store who seem to have it is miles away . I use amazon for next day or toolstation if needed straight away far better service and more knowledgeable staff .
Order not fulfilled
Placed an order for items which showed as in stock on the website (and has ever since). Went to collect and was told that the order was not ready and to wait for a text message. I waited, nothing, went back a week later and was told the same. Continued to wait... 18 days in, I get a missed call and then an email stating a refund has been issued.
Extremely poor customer service
Visited the Wombwell Lane Barnsley store 6.30pm this evening to enquire about availability of tv amplifiers. Asked a female member of staff for some assistance! Soon realised I was wasting my time. All she kept repeating was ‘have you got a product code’ I tried to explain I wanted to know if any tv amplifiers were available or if not how long for delivery. But she was totally unreceptive to my requests, just repeating the same ‘have you got a product code’! Gave it up & went next door to Tool station - couldn’t have been more helpful! I have purchased many products from Screwfix in the recent past, but will certainly consider my options in future.
This is a disgusting company
This is a disgusting company, their customer service is a joke, I have even made several complaints to their complain department and not even a response for those. Ordered a Baxi boiler (next day delivery item) and after 10 days still not received my order.. Had to pay the installer to cancel the job as a result. Rebooked delivery for this week, when the delivery day is arrived still no show. When I contacted the delivery company, they say my order is cancelled by the retailer!. What a joke!
Avoid at any costs. Wouldn’t buy or recommend to anyone!
No problems with this company
I needed a DIY electric sander. My use of it will be limited and my budget likewise. I purchased a MacAllister MSDLS160 from the company online and collected it from the local Barnstaple store. Everything was very easy. I was served in store by a very pleasant lady who assisted me with the purchase of additional sanding sheets. I experienced no problems with the service from Screwfix or, so far, with the sander either.
No common sense
Went to my local Screwfix in Ripon, North Yorks this morning. Absolutely teeming with rain and they still make customers wait outside because of their stupid rules. Only one person allowed in the shop at a time yet the trade section is actually closed off! Absolutely stupid and a complete lack of customer courtesy. If customers are wearing muzzles what is the problem in being flexible with regard to social distancing when weather conditions are so bad? After all, you're only in their for 2 mins max with click and collect. Contrast this with pubs and restaurants where social distancing has gone out of the window and customers are in there for hours. About time Screwfix showed some COMMON SENSE
Screwfix avoiding the issue re new looking sander
I've been a customer of Screwfix from before they opened their store in Nottingham. I've had a negative response to a query I have re their own brand Titan 240 volt sander. The sander looks brand new =well it would do as it's been used once for a matter of minutes with no sheets used out of the new packet. Screwfix no longer list my sander this year that must have cost in the £50 bracket.
They will not look at my purchases to see when I purchased that sander. It is supposed to have a two year guarantee. I will not buy any more power tools from them.
Parcel force at fault not Screwfix
Order delivered by parcel force in 2 damaged boxes with items missing from 1.
Contacted customer service and after 3 emails items were credited to my account.
Only 4 hours after delivered the matter was sorted.
Utterly useless
Chased an outstanding order only to discover that they hadn't actually bothered to order the item from their suppliers in the first place and wont issue a refund until i get the item in question even though by now ive had to order it from somewhere else as needed for a job.Utterly shambolic way of doing business needless to say wont be using them ever again.
another failed delivery
this is now the third delivery out of the last five which has not arrived as stated . avoid this disgusting company as it could not give one about its customers . pheraps screwfix could consult its lawyers who can confirm to them that a delivery date forms part of a legal contract . no point in e mailing screwfix with regards failed deliveries as they just ignore emails . shall be demanding refund from paypal . my advice is to help put this shameful company out of business it is best to use their main rival ( toolstation ) as the world will be a better and more honest place without rogue companies like screwfix . if this is how screwfix treat long standing trade customers then pause for a second and think about how they are likely to treat others .once again shame on you screwfix .
why is it this company will not accept…
why is it this company will not accept criticism/ I wrote a review regarding it's poor customer service. It refused to accept the review - lost my custom much more pleasant at toolstation
We have had a terrible experience
We have had a terrible experience. Goods not delivered - apparently they could not find the address that they have delivered to before and other deliveries manage to find virtually daily.
They have been unable to re-send the delivery that was returned to them by the 'inadequate' delivery system. We now await a refund of our money.
Dare we order again - we are not sure. You would think that once the delivery had arrived back with them they would quickly send it back out and try and get it to us. They are simply not interested. V
The service level has been very poor.
