Visually noticeable 1 oz Gold Buffalo uneven rim thickness.

There is a noticeable rim thickness variation in the received 1 oz American Gold Buffalo coins. The rim should be 2.95 mm, but measurements range from 2.51 mm (near the bison’s back legs) to 3.13 mm (near the top of the Indian’s head), aligned consistently across coins, causing visible tilt when stacked. The variation is most apparent when rims are compared side-by-side. Despite this, all coins passed resonance tests and weigh exactly 1 troy ounce.

SchiffGold stated such variation is normal, that the coins came from the mint, and referred me to the U.S. Mint for further information, without providing order or contact details. They also present themselves as direct mint dealers, which appears misleading.

The pronounced and consistent rim irregularity raises concerns about whether the coins were minted by the U.S. Mint or potentially contain alterations (e.g., tungsten inserts).

Schiff Gold goal does not stand behind their products and processes.

After a series of orders totaling the approximately $200,000, my last delivery included clearly very damaged 100oz. Gold Valcambi Combibar. It came together with 5 large bars of silver in a box that was improperly packed. In transit, the silver bars put a significant crease in the wafer thin gold bar. After several attempts at convincing Schiff Gold to exchange the product, they would not do so. Resale value on this product may now have to be reduced at sale by 3% ($420) or more according to my research. This was my last order ever with Schiff Gold. Why buy from them when there are other dealers that are willing to stand behind their products and processes?

Bad financial advice has cost me dearly.

I hate to admit it, but I’ve been following Peter Schiff’s advice for over a decade, and it has cost me dearly. Back in 2013, when Bitcoin was only a few hundred dollars, I was ready to buy, but Schiff called it a "speculative bubble", so instead, I bought gold.

Fast forward to today: Bitcoin is hovering around $100,000, and gold has hardly outpaced inflation. Had I followed my own intelligence instead of trusting him and his company, I’d be wealthy. So, thanks to Mr. Schiff all I have now is a dumb lifeless rock.

I feel misled, ill advised, and I’m seriously considering legal action over his consistently poor financial advice that has had a devastating impact on my life. I'm surprised other people are not doing the same.

These guys will rip you off

These guys will rip you off. I bought 90% silver from them for a small discount of what APMEX, SD Bullion and other dealers were priced. SchiffGold delivered Standing Liberty Quarters, most of them paper thin! All average 1 gram under weight due to excessive wear. Not even one with a visible date! So I actually WAY over paid based on the quality of the coins received. Stay away from this company and deal with providers of quality product. They do not offer refund. Just "we are sorry you are unhappy" see you later
