Purchased corner flags for our soccer organization on a Saturday, August 16th. Received a message that the flags would be shipped on Monday. On Wednesday, I received an email thanking me for my return and stating they would refund the money that I paid...there was no return since they never shipped the items.
I sent an email to their customer service the next day and received a message saying they would respond within 24 hours. It's been 6 days with no response. Very poor experience and would not recommend them to anyone.

I ordered football cleats for my son. The whole reason I chose to order from SCHEELS.com was because the cleats would have been here the day he needed them or sooner. The day they were set to arrive,at latest, the cancelled my order. Being a single working mom that sent my day into a scramble. I live 50 mins from closest store to be able to buy football cleats, hence the reason I ordered online. Now I have had to call off work and drive the 50 mons just to hope I can find his size. Company is ridiculous, they charged me then cancel order I have to find money to buy new ones travel 50 mins one way. Will never order from them again!!!

This place may have brick and mortar locations, but its online store has to be a front or a joke. Customer service is TERRIBLE! I attempted to make a purchase online several times and it consistently gave an error and the one time it went through, it was cancelled. I called to speak to customer service, they claimed it was because my shipping and billing address were different, verified my info, ordered and they canceled again! I verified my info with my bank and the info they have and they still cancelled yet again. Do NOT shop here! This place sucks and they clearly don't want your money.

I ordered baits for an upcoming fishing tournsment. They were posted to be delivered the day before but when i ordered them i looked at the tracker and they are set to deliver the day of the tournament. I also seen one of them never got shipped and customer service said they were not in stock. So they charged me for items they did not have. If i would of known this i would of ordered from another online business. Now i have no way of having these items for an important tournament. I would not suggest anyone order from this company maybe its better to go to the store but this is awful service on their part.

OUTSTANDING! This was my first try with Scheels.com. First, they had an item, in a size that no one else had, and on a site that had plenty of pictures of the swim trunks from different angles. It was easy to place the order. I had plenty of information to confirm and track the order. The entire process was convenient and my item arrived quickly and in perfect condition. There was one follow up question I had about the item, and shockingly, I had an answer within a few hours; and the answer was better than I expected! Their customer service is hands down one of the best I have ever experienced. Friendly, fast response, total success. In short, I was able to buy an item that I could not find anywhere else, I got a great deal, with phenomenal support. A+++

Overall the shopping at Scheels is good. Prices are pretty high though. The cashier talked me into applying for a credit card with them so I did and was approved, however I received a letter in the mail saying they were canceling it after I had it for 1 year due to not using it enough. Good riddance then to you as I will not be back in a Scheels store.

Today is 26th July. When I ordered the merchandice on 21st July, they promised to deliver on 24th July.. The tracking system on their website is unable to indicate the location of the package except saying that it is in transit.

got a $1500 rifle & $1500 scope from Scheels and I was going to get a suppressor from Silencer Central as I already had a trust account for that purpose but, NO I wanted to get it through Scheels to keep it local and all in one place. Well I got my $200 federal stamp but, the suppressor wouldn't fit on my rifle. They told me I would have to go out on the Internet and find an adapter. BS So much for keeping it local, I had to go to Silencer central to get an adapter to make the Scheels stuff work. So much for local - NEVER AGAIN

Delivery service and customer communication are terrible. I purchased 2 pairs of shoes with an estimated delivery date of 06/27/25. Today is 07/08/25, I have not received the products and there is no information available regarding these deliveries except for the USPS status saying that the product was shipped shortly after ordering.

I believe Scheels uses bait and switch tactics hoping you will still purchase from their website after they confirm a product is in stock. Once you pay for the product and wait 24 to 48 hours for the tracking, mysteriously, the product will be "sold out". However, if you go back to the website, the product is still available for sale online. Pretty sure these are illegal but definitely unethical, tactics.

Tried ordering a $3,000 kayak off their website and kept getting the same error message with different payments. Emailed them and got an email back saying they could place the order on their end then send me a link to do the payment. Got the link, put in all my payment info and it said payment complete. Shortly after I got an email saying the payment was stopped in their system and their was nothing more they could do besides suggesting I call the store. I now have a pending payment on my account holding up a good chunk of money for a product I'm not getting. Worst online shopping experience ever!!

Ordered 3 Stanley’s for gifts for my Mom and 2 Daughters. Tracking says they put wrong address and they are basically lost in mail! Contacted customer service no I’m sorry no we will make it right just maybe your address is wrong. I order hundreds of items from other sites never an issue checked my order online and I have correct address on my order. Poor customer service the unfriendly lady said hopefully you have them by end of the month!!! Not holding my breath poor customer service and poor company first and very last order from this company!!! Thanks for ruining 3 gifts. Don’t order from this company!!!

I do not recommend this pace at all. I order a $500 camo turtle box that i never received they stated that the carrier delivered which i see the delivery picture and that’s definitely not my home at all. I’ve been back and forth with these ppl and unfortunately i have to wash $500 Down the drain because obviously they aren’t trying to replace my item which i was asking for. To be completely honest i wouldn’t dare purchase from this place whatsoever.
The staff was very nice, but the expensive shirt I bought was at least 2 sizes smaller than other shirts I bought on the same trip (from other stores). I contacted their online customer service, but I got the feeling no one would know about it. They seemed to want to get me off as quickly as possible. I normally wear an XL - or an XXL in a cheaper shirt. These shirts seemed small, so I bought an XXL. It was about the size of a small XL shirt.

Got to do something about the attitude on the 'hiring manager' in the firearms section.
Big beard, big belly, big attitude. Acted like a total tool on Mother's Day Sunday afternoon.
Did not listen to me at all.
Tried to physically intimidate me by invading personal space after I told him the product he tried to push on me was NOT what I was looking for. Each time I moved to the left and away from him while walking the same direction back to the firearms section, he continually shifted to the left. I thought he was going to step on my shoes. This person should not be a public-facing employee. Let alone someone who's working with weaponry. He's clearly got anger issues and a distinct lack of self-control. I'd encourage the store manager or corporate to review security camera footage to confirm this.
Against my better judgement, I did attempt to ask him a follow-up question shortly after this interaction, as he appeared to be the only employee not currently busy with anyone else. He gave me a side eye sneer, acknowledgement, mutter something and quickly disappeared to behind the counter/backroom.
I really liked this store until meeting him.
It would be great if the store manager or corporate would reach out to me to discuss my experience. I get the feeling, based on his demeanor, that I am not the only person who has had a poor experience with him.

I bought a S&W 442 revolver online, after searching the Scheels website for items available for pickup that day. After purchasing, I noticed my order status was "Pending shipping". Hmm.
That was Thursday.
Today, Monday, I messaged customer service to ask when I could pick up my revolver. I was told it had not yet been shipped to the store.
When I asked why it wasn't in stock when the search feature told me it was in stock for pickup that day, I was told that I should have seen a notice stating that on both the product and checkout screen. When I asked which contradictory statement I should believe I did not receive an answer.
As of this writing I am waiting to hear back if they will allow me to cancel the order, or if I continue to wait. Either way, no more Scheels trips for me, local shops only.
