What made this great was the ease in ordering the communications? The tracking the company stays with you with each one of their shipments. It was so nice and it was a great experience and the prices you cannot beat. Check them out. You won't be disappointed.
Something very unexpected just happened and I’m so impressed I felt compelled to let potential customers know. I ordered a pair of sneakers for my daughter at Christmas. She loved them, but needed a bigger size. I packed them up and printed the return label, then dropped them at the post office. I waited and the bigger pair never arrived. So I checked the tracking, but it wasn’t found. I IMMEDIATELY suspected I had taken them to the wrong shipper. I rechecked the return label I’d used and, sure enough, there was a tiny FedEx logo on it. I had mistakenly dropped it at the United States Post Office. I repeatedly tried contacting FedEx as well as USPS, but could not speak to a live person. Frustrated, I emailed Scheel’s via their “contact us” button. I explained it all and wondered, since they’re a large company that does a lot of FedEx business, if they could get a response from FedEx about the package. I don’t know if they actually did that or not. Probably not, but they DID send me a full refund for the lost pair and I hadn’t even requested that.
I’m beyond impressed that a modern, large company would help me out in an instance like that when it was admittedly my fault. The only thing I’d suggest to Scheel’s is to make the shipping company’s name more prominent in the return instructions. It’s easy to miss. And if you’re a small business like me, you can get very used to the post office and just go there out of habit.

Made an online purchase and was sent the wrong size item. I contacted them and returned their item for an exchange of the correct size item. The correct item was never sent to me. so I contacted them again and they said it was out of stock so I asked for a refund. Refund was never given after being told "it was" and I actually had to file a PayPal claim to get my money back. Also the 2 people I talked to thru their online chat was rude. Never will purchase again
Ordered a pair of Hey Dudes for a Christmas gift. Shoestring was broken. Sent back for an exchange and they sent the exact same pair of shoes back to me! Will do business elsewhere!

I purchased a pair of shoes yesterday from the Mankato mn store. I needed to exchange for a different size today. I had asked for a wide shoe. I found out she had given me a regular width. I said you told me it was wide. She argued with me saying I did not. I have eworked in customer service for 40 years. What happened to the customer always being right

When my order came in, I noticed that there was no packing slip or invoice enclosed. I called them, expecting a big problem. But they emailed me the packing slip right away. I was amazed at how easy it was to get through to them and get what I needed. I did not even have to wait that long to speak to someone. It was easy and painless.
I can't say enough good things about these people. I had to return most of my order, and sent the items back incorrectly. They took care of it for me. They are wonderful!
I'm a first time online customer with scheels.com. I recieved my order and noticed that the scope rings i ordered were to low. I contacted customer service and i have to say that they were excellent in helping me get the correct item. I couldn't be happier, they went out of their way to help. Thanks so much

Called in to ask if I could ship a firearm to them and do an ffl transfer. Sure no problem they said. Firearm was shipped to them and without waiting or contacting me sent it back. The return says that I did not contact them before hand which is a lie. All my contact information would have been on the order and no effort was made to contact me . I have bought several firearms there in the last few months. Now I did not receive the firearm and I pay a restocking fee. Seems ridiculous and costly to me . I will not be buying anything else from them or recommending them to the many people that ask me where to purchase their next gun.

DO NOT APPLY FOR SHEELS CREDIT CARD!!!! I shopped on their site for the first time, was going to make a big purchase in excess of $500. They had a promo where if you applied for the card, you got a $75 gift card which you could use on your order "if approved instantly". They even showed the reduced price net of the e-gift card to drive the point home. I do not need another credit card, and I sure don't want the credit score hit for applying, but for the savings, I thought in this case I would. My credit score is WELL north of 800. But when I applied online I got a message that said I would get "written status of my application within 2-4 weeks". This was a total bait and switch and in my opinion, a straight up scam to get individuals to apply for their card. Will not shop with this company and will cancel card when (and if) received. I should have known better, but let my lesson prevent you from falling into their scam.

Let me first say I had never heard of your store. I Googled looking for a Brumate toddy and y'all had one so I ordered online and one of the 3 I ordered arrived damaged. I happened to be coming to Dallas and noticed you had a local store so I went in to exchange. The young lady at Customer Service was AWESOME! She was so nice and genuinely happy to be working there. She directed me to where the Brumates were located and I found them immediately (perfect directions from your associate) found a new one as well as a couple other impulse items! I walked the entire store and was impressed by how well stocked and clean the store was and there were associates ALL OVER willing to help! Very impressive!!! I returned to Customer Service and exchanged the item that was broken. The item was actually now on sale so I was able to return and purchase at the sale price (yay!!) and she was able to ring up the other items I picked up. Truly one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had (I worked retail for years both before my career and then again after I retired I picked up a part time retail job). The young lady at Customer Service deserves a bonus or raise or something! She was the picture of perfect service!
this is my favorite place to shop I am pretty much an online shopper except for this establishment used to go to the one in Texas in Frisco moved to St Peters Missouri visiting family in Wichita brought me here there's a great location in the old Sears in the St Peter's Mall to bring the Scheels to St Peters mo
The representative was helpful in detailing the situation and talking with me. However Scheels is absolutely horrible to deal with. I ordered a case of .410 ammo given a delivery date and had a charge on my card, only for a WEEK later 1 day before the delivery date I get an email cancelling my order because now they were out of stock. Not out of stock when I ordered it, out of stock when a WEEK LATER, they finally bothered to try and ship it. They didn’t give me a credit they didn’t reorder it, they said it sucks we can’t do anything for you. I would never shop here after this experience.
