I have been on other pickleball holidays but what I loved was the passion of the coaches and the mindset thinking that went behind the coaching and playing. it made a huge difference to my playing.

I’ve just returned from a training weekend with SB Pickleball Escapes, high-quality coaching and real performance development.

Bex hosted the weekend seamlessly, creating a professional environment where everything ran efficiently. The hotel was very comfortable, great food & friendly staff. Coach Pep provided excellent technical and tactical coaching, with purposeful drills and clear feedback throughout. Intensive but fun. A great mix of drills & match play.

The group was focused, committed & fun. The atmosphere positive.
A truly professional and enjoyable experience — I’d highly recommend it.

Great weekend. Very enjoyable and at the same time very instructional. Lots of coaching, lots of drill and just the right amount of match play.
Hotel accommodation was first class. The playing venue was excellent (if a little on the cold side!). Good food at the hotel and the venue.
Left the weekend energised to play more pball and to put into practice all the things Pep taught us. Will definitely go on an SB Pball Escape weekend again.

I had the most wonderful time at my SB Pickleball Escape holiday last weekend in the New Forest. It sure didn't disappoint if not exceed my expectations. I finished the weekend feeling absolutely buzzing and excited to put everything we learned into practise in my next session.

We had the amazing and incredible Mollie Knaggs as our Pro Pickleball Coach for the weekend and she was simply inspiring and awesome. With her kind, compassionate and encouraging nature, she adapted the coaching sessions to the needs and desires of the group accordingly. Ahead of the weekend we were asked if there's anything specific we would like to work on so she could take that into consideration. This was nice as it felt like the weekend would be personalised to the group rather than one size fits all. Definitely made it feel more inclusive for all abilities and levels and eased any nerves or apprehension on that front. The coaching itself was exceptional and of incredibly high standard in my personal opinion. Mollie specialises in sports psychology and mindset and included some of this into the weekend which I personally found incredibly useful. What I also really enjoyed about the coaching sessions is the way it was structured. We would get a demo with instructions, followed by partnering up to drill the skill while Mollie would walk around and observe and give some 121 tips on improvement if needed. Her walking around would also allow to ask questions with regards to that skill that might come up as you're practising it. What was also really enjoyable is that we would finish the coaching with some game like drills, normally in teams, where we would be given the opportunity to apply the new learned skill in a more realistic game setting which was a massive bonus in my opinion.

Bex Page, the director of the company, was also at the escape which was lovely as it allows you to put a face to the name and email communications. Bex is incredibly accommodating, reassuring and always willing to help and find solutions to possible issues or apprehensions. She was also great on checking-in throughout the escape to ensure everyone was happy or if anyone needed anything. Nothing is really ever a problem for Bex, she's simply incredibly passionate in delivering the best and most valuable escape experience for all escapees which makes it so much nicer to be part of it all.

The Harbour Hotel is where we stayed throughout the escape which truly made it feel like a luxury getaway and allow for relaxation too after and before a day of pickling. Definitely a massive bonus! The hotel is only a 4min drive away, or 20min walk, from PicklePad, which is where the coaching takes place. If it weren't so cold, I would have probably walked there instead of driven.

PicklePad is an incredibly lovely, independently owned establishment where all staff are kind, smiley and accommodating which makes it such an enjoyable experience while there.

Overall, absolutely AMAZING and highly recommend booking your next pickleball escape as you'll get value for money. It's 100% the place to go if you're keen on improving your game and skill.

What an incredible experience! From the moment we booked the holiday, everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. A week before departure, we received a detailed itinerary outlining all the coaching, development sessions, and downtime—which was super helpful.
We were the first large group of 30, supported by four fantastic coaches each day, including the amazing Sam and Mollie Knaggs. The courts were great, the people were brilliant, and every session was thoughtfully structured, packed with valuable feedback and plenty of gameplay to put our learning into action. My confidence has grown so much, and the mindset coaching by Mollie was absolutely fantastic—truly transformative.
The final evening was beautifully planned, with a heartwarming presentation hosted by Sam and Bex. Throughout the week, there were regular water breaks, and the lovely Bex made sure we all stayed well hydrated.
We had such a brilliant time, we’re already looking forward to booking again next year!

Just recently back from my first SB pickleball break and as a novice player and I was really thrilled at how inclusive the coaching was. My confidence has improved massively and I have met such a wonderful group of people on this trip. Everything was first class from the coaching, the resort, the food and the beautiful weather. Would have no hesitation to recommend SB pickleball to anyone who is considering a pickleball break in the future.

Great break with Sam and Bex and a fab bunch of pickleballers from around the UK. Resort was immaculate and the food and drink very well priced.Spotless accommodation and the grounds so well manicured. Sam’s knowledge and coaching superb and extra play time invaluable. Highly recommended. Next on the list is to try one of the SB pickleball UK retreats in the New Forest!!

Absolutely the best pickleball holiday I have been on. The coaching top notch, courts were amazing and the group was the best company I could have wished for.

My only regret is that it had to come to an end - so I'll be booking again soon!

Had an absolute blast on the SB Pickleball Escape. Coaching from Sam was spot on: clear, structured, but not overcomplicated. Picked up a load of things I’ve already brought back to the club (the 1-2-3 drop timing and “Stretch & Squeeze” especially, not forgetting a double-handed backhand!). Extra rec play was great value too!

What made it even better was the group - genuinely great bunch of people, plenty of laughs, and it never felt too serious or too casual, just the right balance.

The setup is hard to beat. Courts were 30 seconds from my apartment door, resort was class, and loads to do nearby if you wanted a break from the courts.

Everything ran smooth from start to finish. Fair play to Bex for keeping it all ticking - huge undertaking with front of house, comms, being flexible and adding that personal touch.

Will 100% be back for another one.
