Please be extremely cautious buying a car from this company.
Range rover purchased and major fault indentified within 4 weeks. Allowed them to do the repairs but in hindsight wish I had rejected the car.
A few months later another issue with the car which completely cut out in the middle of the road
with a cost of more than £1000 to repair. Saxtons not interested in helping this time. Referred me to a warranty they recommended at the time of purchase at an additional £3000. We were led to believe the warranty was all singing and all dancing but when you read the small print there are so many exclusions its not really worth the paper its written on.
Just 10 days after second repair we have had the car serviced only for several other issues to be identified including with suspension and sensors which will cost thousands more to fiz.
We got rid of our old car to get a newer model but we have had more issues with the new car in 6 months than we have ever had with any car before!

We had a genuinely positive experience with Ismail at Saxtons. From the outset, he was approachable, easy to talk to and consistently went above and beyond to help with anything we needed.He kept us fully informed throughout the process and was always quick to respond to any questions.

Saxtons - Tiean and Jordan
Both Tiean and Jordan were excellent in helping with my trade in and new car.
The only downside to this was I noticed a mark / damage on front of new car which I missed when I first viewed it. I asked what could be done but the managers reply was I should have seen on the first viewing and they would not rectify it - a bit disappointing.

Buying the car was easy, It was once I left the forecourt the problems started
Buying the car was easy. Lots on display and we went with a clear picture of what we required. Spoke to the salesman and was left browsing at my own leisure. The salesman answered all the questions I had and made the whole experience one that was not laborious. No hard sell, no 'Oh you don't want to do that'
Total browsing time including selecting and paying a deposit 2 hours. So far so good.
Working all week I wanted to collect the car the following weekend. Unfortunately this was against Saxtons policy and I had to take time off work to collect the car after four days.
Collecting the car took 15 mins total. Signed the paperwork for the V5 and the Tax and drove home. This is when the issues started.
Turns out the previous owners details were still located on the car, something I am struggling to rectify, still waiting for a call back from the Salesman. Then we found out the class of the Tax was disabled - therefore as the incorrect paperwork had been signed the Tax was not paid. This rendered my insurance Null and void. I was unable to use the car for work and couldn't register the car for the Dartford crossing. It took many calls to Lee the Finance manager to get the tax issue resolved although it did take 8 days in total. But the car's V5 form arrived and the Taxation class is still showing as Disabled - I now have to go to the post office to try to sort this.
To summarise, browsing, paying the deposit, buying the car - Easy. Staff friendly, no hard sell. what happens when you leave the forecourt and after split 50 / 50 - Salesman - non existent, Finance Manager went above and beyond.

Really poor and unhelpful and misleading
Really poor and unhelpful comminication. I had placed a deposit in good faith to secure a vehicle, then was asked to increase the depsit, which I did as we were keen on the car. We were chased to complete, which we sort to do. then at the last minute we were told the car was no laonger for sale. No clear explanation why, despite seberal phone calls and chats to various employees. Have not recived any clarity to this date. NOT WHAT I WOULD CALL GOOD OR CLEAR SERVICE
