We are a Finland based, Finnish company employing a total of over 200 employees at our facilities in Finland and Estonia. Due to the ever-increasing demand some of our manufacturing is done by subcontractors, the select few subcontractors we use are based in Finland, Estonia and Poland. All quality control is done at our headquarters in Karstula, Finland. Finn-Savotta designs and manufactures high quality functional equipment for demanding professional and recreational use in extreme environments. With a focus on personal load carrying equipment and sustainment systems our product range varies from small accessories to backpacks, various sleeping gear and special purpose tents. Our customers include outdoors enthusiasts, humanitarian aid groups and military and law enforcement organizations both domestically and abroad. Our capabilities include research, development and design, heavy-duty technical sewing, laser cutting, 3D design and printing, metalworking, automation, vacuum forming, material expertise and a strong will to continuously deepen our understanding of the end-users requirements.

Bought a sleeping pad (FDF) from Savotta a few days ago and just got the product in my hands and I got to say, the quality is really good. The size is just right as me being 185cm or 6'1, its just the right size for me. Only downside to his pad is that the flaps or wings on both side are thin, though i don't think that should be much of a problem, just have to be a bit more careful. Shipping time was alright, the product came in tack. Overall my experience is 4,9/5.

Professional, honest and great quality items.
Its actually built to last, hence some stiffer prices.
Very helpful and fast customer support.
One review claimed they "dropship" chinese crap, which is ridiculous, Savotta designs and make backpacks for the military since ~1960, He must have gone to some fake knock off site.

They might be convincing, but their products are not their own.
This is simple drop shipping from Amazon, with their "Savotta" logo put on it. I don't know if you will receive your product with their logo on it or not, but be prepared that the product is most likely Chinese.
Not made in Finland.

We design and manufacture our gear ourselves, and production takes place 100% within the European Union. Approximately 97% of our materials are sourced from EU suppliers. Our manufacturing operations are located in Finland and Estonia, and we maintain close oversight of the entire production process to ensure quality, durability, and traceability.
We do not sell our products on Amazon. Customers within the EU can purchase directly from our official website at savotta.fi. Customers outside the EU are encouraged to order through one of our trusted retailers, which are listed on our website at savotta.fi/pages/retailers.
