I have signed up to SATS a few months ago with a direct debit agreement to pay for my membership. For some reason SATS has charged me for June and August but not July. Instead of reaching out or trying to fix their mistake they have reported me to a debt collection agency and are trying to extort me three times the amount of my monthly fee. I will never trust this company again and do not recommend anyone to sign anything with SATS. They are clearly trying to scam people.

I have been a member of SATS since April 2023, paying 409 DKK every month for my subscription.
Today, I contacted the customer service chat on the official website to add my student discount (which the site states is 20%) since I was recently accepted into university. I was surprised when I was only given a 10 DKK discount, knowing that 20% of 409 is 81 DKK, resulting in a final price of 328 DKK. When I complained about this, the employee told me that they take the list price, which is 499 DKK, and that the price. However, 409 is the price I have had for over a year, and the 20% student discount should be applied to the amount I pay monthly (409 DKK). Using this criteria of taking the number of thr list price for the discount, if it were a 10% discount instead of 20%, I would end up paying even more, 450 DKK. I am really disappointed and it seems like a joke that the student discount was only 10 DKK for me. I am considering canceling my subscription and switching to another gym.

Never been to the GYM yet I am having issues 🥴
They had issues processing my payment for the first month (I had betalingsservice setup correctly and active), and they just send my data to a debt collector.
Their phone number doesn't work during the month of July and have to make manual payment, and keep an eye that the payment went through (takes days to syncronize).
Wasted my time and energy already with this ..

Today it was both Hiit Pilates AND normal Pilates with Sara A. Farahani -SHE is FANTASTIC amazing workout!!
BUT -always a but.... The classes are on weekdays at Sluseholmen -normally I work when she has her classes, I would LOVE it, if we could get afternoon or evening classes, especially with her at Sluseholmen.
The other instructors are also excellent -but Sara has that extra touch...

I used to go to yoga classes at SATS Fisketorvet. When SATS Sluseholmen opened just across my building, I was excited to switch gym locations and save on traveling time. However, I was a bit disappointed by the fact that in the new gym, I might not have had a chance to attend yoga classes run by Ronald Galvez Esguerra. Not long after, Roland started to conduct pilates and yoga classes at Sluseholmen gym. I was super happy! Roland is a very good teacher. He is committed, experienced, and knowledgable, corrects you if you are doing the exercises incorrectly and doesn't let you stop for a minute. I like how he runs his classes and must say that his classes are my favorite ones. I wish he gets some time slots after 17.00 though. :-)

Their gyms are filthy and they never fix the machines. We cancelled2 memberships because of this. The calf raise machine at Gentofte lay on the floor broken for over 6 months. The bathrooms at all their gyms are disgusting and filthy with dirty water and toilet paper all over the floor. At SATs they completely closed the bathrooms with zero notice at all just like the review below. Appalling. At Gentofte often the sink would be over flowing and when you tell the staff they don’t even take a look, they are too cool for that, and instead gaslight you making you feel like an idiot for even saying anything. On top of that when I cancelled both memberships there is a one month notice period, that is fine but instead of them taking payment from the perfectly fine credit card on file they send your account to debt collection. They told me it was because I had insufficient funds, ah it was a platinum credit card on the account and I checked with my bank and there was no attempt to take payment from my card at all. So I pay immediately via the payment link and the following day we are sent an email saying we shouldn’t let a missing payment lose focus on training and that we need to add a credit card to the account. NO WE CANCELLED GO AWAY. Our plan had been to cancel for 3 months as we will be out traveling but after this shameful and disgusting experience we will NEVER EVER give you any money again. Plenty of other cheaper cleaner gyms with actual customer service. You are a disgrace

Cleaning on toilet and stairs are often not done. Borrowing rubber bands at the desk seems an overkill and is rather annoyong that they are not in the center.
Otherwise nice machines overall.

Helsingør SATS. Solo training mode. Dates for visit May 2024 and also 2023 june-dec. Price: About 750 a clip pr month for two persons. Experience: Kinda cool. But why oh wh isnt' there more airflow in gyms. There are a tonne of windows. Imagine being in a glasshouse with no airflow. That's how it feels in May at 18 degrees celsius. Lots of music - kinda loud. Sweet frontdesk, always greeting and helping out. If I would change anything about SATS it would be to open the windows, and shut the music off if therre are noise complaints. Everyone has their own earplugs, or earphones on anyway. What I like about SATS: Casall weights (Sweden), awesome sled for push and pulls, mixed and diverse group of members, and good machines - made in Germany I believe.

No showers in the Blox Sats gym for two weeks! Zero notice given to members. Male changing rooms are now half the size and never cleaned. Now sats in their normal money greedy mode have removed the paper in the gym used by members to wipe down machines and from themselves. This has been replaced with single issuing paper you see in a toilet. This will lead to a more dirty and smelly gym with a machines covered in other peoples sweat! It seems everytime I turn around Sats has both increased charges and reduced services.
UPDATE: Now the whole chageing rooms plus toilets will be closed for MONTH...dead silence from sats who are now in breach of contract.

Great facility. I love the gym and everything they can offer. Sadly, they have the worst billing system that I have experienced in Denmark (and that is hard since everything is automatic).
In 5 months, I was billed incorrectly 3 times, which I had to call and spend time on correcting, but it got refunded at least. After that, I left the country for almost 2 months, during which I paused my membership. In this period, they apparently could not charge 56dkk for my card, so instead of contacting me, sending an email, a reminder via the app, or anything, a collection agency was forwarded which also did not contact me after 1 month and a half after this happened (keep in mind I was unaware that this payment did not go through because is so small and on top of that the membership after was renewed so very flaky system, that doesn't even warn you that you are not paying they just let you in going and going) but anyway after 1 month and a half I get an Eboks (which good that is actually a communication system) where now im charged 56 dkk + 600 dkk in collection fees, I have never experienced such abusive behavior from a company, to be honest, I prefer to pay for a gym + sauna separately than dealing with you guys that take no responsibility whatsoever for this type of issues and you have no customer care.
You do have a very well-trained customer care team that should be re-named The Company Care Team since you do not offer any solution to your customers they are just trained very well to tell you that it is what it is, suck it up, and don't ever complain again.
So yeah, keep up the good work!

I've been training at SATS for the last 2 1/2 years. While I like the well-equipped gyms and the mostly central locations, as well as the fact that they have a sauna, I feel there was quite a deteroriration over time:
Cleanliness is a bit of a hit or miss (recently I came to SATS KBH Falkoner the first time, there were several used paper towels and other trash spread across the changing room...), steamrooms were closed, and some of the infrastructure is falling apart (several lockers at Falkoner were missing doors, the bench in the sauna at KBH Parken had broken planks), and at the same time, prices went up (at least mine did).
And if you think I should have raised this to staff - I totally agree. But in both examples above, front desks were not manned and nobody was in sight, and I did not have time to ring the bell and wait. So it does not seem like they are overstaffed (another cost saving while prices go up).
Finally, it seems the gyms became a lot busier, and it now pretty much impossible to book certain group training sessions unless you book very much (weeks) in advance - or are fine with not fully working infrastructure (looking at you, KBH Fisketorvet cykling bikes that do not link to the phone any more and therefore you have no idea about speed / watts...).
So far, the good locations and access to a sauna keep me from switching gyms, but I'm closely monitoring how this further develops.
