It was a good experience for me and I enjoyed and learned a lot during SAM Labs courses, Thank you for your spent efforts.

Well planned lessons delivered by skilled teachers - my kids (7 and 10) are happily learning, disguised as fun! Thank you for this wonderful STEM resource! Especially important in this time as we’re all seeking ways to engage our kiddos.

The classes have been excellent. There is good communication in between classes. My 11 year old and 13 year old have really enjoyed them!

A great way to get started into coding without scary white letter on black background! It is not just for children !

My daughter LOVED her session with SAM Labs. It was engaging and fun, and every session was something different but built on the skills she'd learned in previous weeks. I'd sign her up for more sessions in a heartbeat!

My daughter participated in SAM Labs distance learning course for 8 weeks. She enjoyed using the virtual blocks and participating in the engaging lessons. We can’t wait to get our own set of blocks to use in the future!

My 8 year old really enjoyed his time with Samslab. The integration of hands on learning and social interaction while learning coding all from the comfort of your own home has been great.

I really can't say enough good things about SAM Labs. First, you know with SAM Labs you are getting a very high-quality product. Their Bluetooth enabled SAM blocks are top-of-the-line bits for teaching coding, maker education, and STEAM in the K-12 classroom. The blocks and accessories endure, are intuitive to use, and are well-protected with a soft covering because everyone drops things at some point. I absolutely love to interact with the SAM Labs team. They are so friendly and quick to reach out to you for support. They have been so amazing to me and my students during this time of remote learning due to COVID-19. I interact with lots of STEAM and edtech companies and no company has cared for me and my program like SAM Labs has during this difficult time. Right now they're offering free professional development to help you better implement and utilize their resources and materials. They just have the right focus: it's on helping teachers and students, and not about the sale or the marketing. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

I took the professional development courses (PD1.1-2.2) to get familiar with SAM Labs and teaching computational thinking in general. Ms. Emily Deffenbaugh is a great lecturer and did a fantastic job introducing Sam Labs' vision and capabilities. Her presentations were very well organized and I really enjoyed the examples and fun games she brought up in the classes. Those are very important elements for making computer science classes engaging. One thing I consider a missing piece of the development course is a class preview. I would suggest sending the participants handouts before each class so that they have an idea what the class will cover and if preparations (such as downloading Sam Space) are needed. Overall, these are informative classes and I will consider taking more post level 2 classes in the future.

I haven't yet received my order. The order process went fine, but it has been several weeks now without an update. I'm sure that the virus has impacted the delivery schedule, however it would be nice to have an update on when the kit will ship.

Sam Labs is an excellent product. They are very supportive and willing to help with any questions. They have put together an amazing set of lessons and resources that make using the product with your curriculum so easy. With all that is happening in the world they also made it virtual so your students don't even need the actual blocks to get to work with it.

Great Support and Amazing Curriculum

I will be honest, when I started "playing" around with SAM Labs I was not very impressed and actually thought about never using them. Then my team got together with our local representative and then everything changed. I was super impressed with how supportive she was and the curriculum that she showed me. She even offered to come to our school's STEM Family night and to help co-teach a lesson with Kindergartners. SAM Labs offers a true K-12 experience and allows for growth and innovation as the students get older -- it is not the same lessons all the time. I wish I had money in our budget to buy all the different kits.

The information is easy to understand and the instructors are very knowledgeable. I am enjoying learning about STEM/STEAM lessons that are available.

My daughter loves coding with these blocks. She is 6 years old and easily understood how to use these with the software. The LEGO compatibility means that building possibilities are endless. Their customer service is exceptional and we love that they are offering free coding webinars during the pandemic.

I love my new kit!

I attended a SAM Labs webinar. I enjoyed the experience so much that I decided to purchase a kit. The purchase experience was easy and my kit, combined with lesson plans, is a lot of fun.

I work with Samlabs and followed the courses lately. I love to work with your materials and learned a lot with the courses. The way the courses were build and given were really nice to work with.

Sam Labs has been such a great resource for my PD, for providing high-quality engaging lessons and materials for my children and students. The curriculum, support, software and hardware as so well planned and tested. My 8th grade son is enjoying the Learn to Code lessons more than any of his middle school remote learning and is developing great confidence in his coding and computational fluency skills.
As a teacher, the PD series has been the most supportive, engaging and responsive experience. I am learning not just how to use their curriculum but also learning great ways to teach remotely from their educators.

We’ve tried lots of these boxes/kits and I found this one to be excellent value for money. My son really enjoyed the activities, it was educational and easy for me to navigate 👍

Your trainers are excellent! I took classes from both Emily and Mackenzie during my certification. I was truly impressed with their examples of how to use SAM Labs in the classroom. Emily provided some great classroom management examples and anchor charts that I will definitely be using. Thank you for such a valuable experience! I look forward to using SAM Labs once I return to the classroom (hopefully in the fall).
