This was honestly one of the most amazing experiences of our lives!! From start to finish we could have not asked for anymore!!! Our guides Jerson and Pedro were absolutely incredible!! They were both very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, humble and kept the whole group engaged and entertained throughout the 5 days!!! Thank You for giving us memories to last a lifetime!!!

We could write a few pages more but that wouldn’t do it justice!!! If you are looking at booking this Trek then please go for it, you will NOT be disappointed!!

The half day Cusco’s city tour with Nico was so informative. He is a wealth of knowledge. Loved hearing the history of the ruins.

Our tour guide Hermo was so kind and knowledgeable and the company took care of all the logistics so that we could really appreciate the nature and beauty of the places we got to see.

The best company to hike to Machu Picchu! Jose (our Guide) make the experience 5 stars, he is very fun and knowledgeable. This is the company you should choose!

I just completed a 5-day trek with this agency, and I can confidently say it exceeded every expectation.
From the very beginning, everything was handled with precision and care. The logistics were seamless, the communication was clear, and the entire experience felt thoughtfully designed.
The guides were outstanding.
Professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive, they struck the perfect balance between leadership and warmth. We did the 4 day classic inca trail with Salkantay Trekking and we are so pleased with our experience! Both of our guides were very knowledgeable on the history of the trail and the flora and fauna. They also were very supportive as parts of the trek are pretty difficult but they always told us to go our own pace and pushed us to succeed. The team of chefs and porters did outstanding; the porters were constantly going out of their ways to make us feel welcomed and supported even though they were working 10x harder than us. The food was outstanding, I’m shocked out what can be made at 3,600 m with only a fire. We recommend this trek to everyone with Salkantay trekking, it was an amazing experience. This company is amazing. It was well organized and staff was easy to communicate at all times.

It’s definitely a challenging trek and might push you out of your comfort zone with food, accommodations and physical activity. But, this was all so important to our experience. We traveled as two girls alone and felt completely safe.

If you’re on the fence - do it 10000%! It’s a good mixture of adventure, culture, and comfort. The chefs, guides and horsemen take care of you and work so hard to ensure you have a good experience.

Come with an open mind and be ready for a challenge - it’s so worth it!!!

Lastly, it’s the most physically beautiful place I’ve ever been. Shoutout to our guide, Raul. If you get to be with him you are LUCKY. However, it seems that all staff is amazing.

I have done a couple of hikes across South America and South East Asia. This has been by far the most comfortable and fun hike I've been on. The views and hiking planning were immaculate and our guides were all really amazing and knowledgeable of the area that we hiked through. Really amazing experience and would definitely friends and family to try it out if the opportunity arises.

The 4-day inka trail to Macchu Picchu was an unforgettable experience, I will never forget this trip and will always speak highly of this travel company. Henry was so knowledgeable and attentive to our group, he made sure we had a great trip and were well taken care of. The chef was 5 star and we always were blown away by the high quality of food while camping. The porters made this trip possible for us, carrying everything we needed for our journey, they were incredible. I hold my hands up to the team and am so grateful for this experience.

The best experience I have ever had!!! This hike went above and beyond anything I could have imagined! Our guide Carlos was absolutely incredible, I cannot speak more highly of his level of expertise on absolutely everything from the flora and fauna to his history knowledge. He was truly the best guide in the world and I feel so grateful to have had him to guide our group and teach with such wisdom and enthusiasm. On top of that the food on this trip was UNBELIEVABLE, I think I will be dreaming of the food for many months to come. Cannot recommend more highly!

Had the most amazing time EVER - you must do this trek once in your life! The scenery and getting to Machu Picchu was incredible but the accomodation, the food every day and our guide Carlos took this trip to another level! I don’t think I’ll ever be able to beat this trek for the experience we had - had the most amazing time and learnt so much about the nature we passed and Inca history. Every meal and accomodation was perfect, the walk was stunning and I will remember this trip and the people we trekked with forever! The tour was very well structured and Abel our guide has a phenomenal amount of knowledge on local history, customs and culture. It was a very immersive and educational experience, in amongst some of the most beautiful mountains in the world.

Awesome adventure with amazing people including the staff. Our guide Nico was informative and fun-loving, ensuring we had everything we needed or wanted throughout the 5 day trek. The natural beauty of this route is breathtaking. Highly recommended. 🤙 Llama gang gang!

We did the 1-Day Inka Trail with Salkantray Trekking and everything was perfectly organized – from the punctual hotel pickup to the smooth train ride to Machu Picchu.

Our guide Hermo was fantastic – his English was excellent, he shared deep knowledge about the Inka culture, and he was also great to chat with about everyday things. Super friendly, funny, and always in a good mood!

The food was delicious, with local snacks and even a vegetarian option for my girlfriend.

We were a small group of two (German, 27 & 31 years old) and felt completely looked after.

Highly recommended – we’d definitely book with Salkantray Trekking again!

We did the 4days/3 nights classic inca trail in the national park with rhis company finished yesterday.
Henry was our guide and i cannot share enough how hard the porters worked to make the trip. They carry everything, set your tents up, cook all the meals. And they were both nutritional & tasty! There was lots left over. Henry was knowledgeable & everything from start (sending Qs & responding to my texts) during and to finish was organised, planned & and went well.

I highly recommend this company.

We loved our 5 day Salkantay trip to Machu Picchu with this company. The guide Franz and his team of chefs and Muleters were amazing. The organising of the trip from start to end was fantastic. The accommodation was all incredible and felt luxurious. Food was incredible and our group were great.

We went to Pallay Punchu, that is similar to the Coloured Mountains but not so famous.
We walked from 4.200 to 4.700 meters above sea level: it was tiring but it was worth it!
We were the only one and the experience was really amazing!
Ricardo is an eccellent and friendly guide, Roosevelt a perfect and kind driver!

This was an extraordinary experience and is a must for anyone looking for an adventure trip. Very well organised with amazing guides, food and accommodation. It's challenging but you won't be disappointed.

Our seven day Salkantay Trek and Inca Trail expedition far exceeded our expectations - it was amazing in every way! Our tour guide Juan Carlos was absolutely incredible, he looked after us so well and made the whole experience feel personal and unforgettable. The meals throughout the trek were outstanding - our chef Jesus was truly amazing. The meals were delicious, beautifully prepared and presented, a wonderful variety and very generous in portion. We truly couldn't have wished for a better trip. Everything was perfect from start to finish, and it was truly a trip of a lifetime. We have the most amazing memories and can't recommend this experience enough to other travellers.
