This site is a scam once you complete the necessary steps to acquire contact information the girl turns into a little monster. It’s all about getting you to spend money buying credits and the transaction from English to Chinese is really bad. A big waste of time and money

Reply from SakuraDate
You spend a lot of money on here when you start talking with someone. As an older man, they always tell me age is just a number. The biggest telltale sign to watch out for is that they constantly want to talk to you. You end up buying a lot of credits because you’re interested.
Update to my review: under one members profile, it gives a request for contact. The rules state that you have to spend 5000 credits to start. Then you have to spend 15 days talking with that person in addition to the 5000 credits. Once you’ve reached that goal you put in a request to contact that person. You fill out a form that they show you and once that form has been verified, there’s still another 500 credits that you have to spend to contact the person in order to get off the site and talk with them outside the site. I’ve put in this request three times and every time I go back to check on the ‘contact request’ is shows that the contact request was never put in. To me that’s a scam. Because it doesn’t show that I paid the 500 credits to be able to contact that person outside of the website. And there’s no way to verify if these women are real or not. If you try to give any information to the other person of a phone number or an email in order to be able to get off the site the site blocks that information. I’ve also tried to delete my profile. And that doesn’t work either. Customer support doesn’t answer any of my emails.

Scam Scam Stay away. They charge you money for something you hope, but it never will happen. They will not accept to close my profile

All profiles appear AI generated as very generic.
Chats appear to be solely around generating credit purchases from the member contacted, encouraged for photos and letters at increasing cost.
Exorbitant cost to obtain contact details of the member outside the app.
Appears a Scam.

I read all reviews and I accepted the good bad experiences. However always like to experience myself . All the bad reviews are correct everything experienced was on point accurate . I did actually get sucked in thought at one point everyone wrong . It was a crazy experience well put together . Avoid at all costs . It starts gradually then increases then bang numbers in videos and letters all costing but doesn't work then told I made a mistake . Offered to fly her and son to me book a holiday out of curiosity from other reviews. I actually believe there's someone there but for gain . I said its clever but its not just vulnerable people. I've heard she was at airport but wouldn't allow . RUBBISH. I've heard i have lots that move to different platforms immediately. RUBBISH. Everything negative is exactly what I experienced. Tried different platforms at this point was with different people around me it is laughable. If you want to lie in bed gorgeous lady sending videos 50 credits a time and makes you feel better thats ok . Again just praying on vulnerable. There's porn sites . I work with Asian ladies have families and they are beautiful and their culture . I asked what about tinder etc. And response was you probably moved to other platforms using crypto etc . Only way site stops is stop using . Guys saying I've got many contacts but never actually meet with them.i gave a go as yes single older out of long marriage just worked as not a great social life but at least entered expecting this it was fun someone messaging goodnight and as said fine but you will never pass that . Get a hooker with your money at least have a great time hey . Avoid Avoid

Sakuradate is 100% a SCAM site which scrapes Instagram profiles of women. These profiles are then uploaded to the dating site and AI or people sitting behind the scenes of the profile impresonate the woman (or victim) they have scraped from Instagram. The whole platform is designed to keep you chatting so you spend as much money on credits as possible. The women in the profiles ARE NOT REAL WOMEN!!! Stay away!

Reply from SakuraDate
Horrible App where ALL the female profiles are FAKE AI Asian women. None of the female profiles are real, it's all AI 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤬🤬🤬

I would give Sakuradate ZERO STARS!
The objective is to get you to buy more credits. If you try to give contact information it is blocked. One girl told me to put my phone number in one digit per message... more credits used and it was blocked. I sent my email address over several messages in a way that a half wit would recognise, but the girl claimed she didn't understand!
I logged in from a different profile within minutes and chatted to the same girl (ostensibly). She didn't know what I was taking about, which suggests it was a different person! Was it even a girl?
My deaf son has wasted hundreds of pounds talking to girls on this site. They lead him on, telling him they like him and that they look forward to meeting him, but claim that Sakuradate block their phone number if they type it in a message.
They will send you a video, (not a face to face call) which costs 50 credits to view! (Over £10!) What use is a dating site which prevents you making contact with the girls outside the site.
My son has spent about £130 a month for over a year on credits. He is lonely and easily misled. He has been the victim of several romance scams on the Internet over the years and I estimate he has paid over £50,000 to "pretty girls" who convinced him they loved him!
Don't waste your money.

Hello,
I wanted to let you know that I had recently submitted a review through Trustpilot and received a notice from Sakuradate to give more information. When I filled in the information, I had forgotten that I had changed my email since first signing up, so the original email for the site would be different than the one I am currently using. I will supply them with the original email address when they request more information from this review. Since I had sent those email requests to your support team on my other email address, I was let go from my job this past Friday because of downsizing the company, so now I'm really going to struggle for money until I can find a new job. I've saved up some money to buy credits but I cannot do it using a Credit Card or Debit Card because it shows up as being charged to your Site and I don't want that to be seen. Is there any other way I could buy a package of credits and not have it show up on a bill or statement as Sakuradate.com? I'm about to lose the woman I have as she thinks I've left her.
September 17,2025
I sent an email to your Customer Team a couple days ago from my original website email and still haven’t received a response. I am about to lose my woman, can you please help?
Thanks,
Ben

It’s really super scammer website and fake girls …not real girls for sure and just selling videos online never recommend it ever……

Reply from SakuraDate
This is not a dating site. It's a money making site. Advertised as free but in order to chat you have to buy credits. Every message you receive and send costs a credit. Plus all the "women" are photos of models and just want to keep you chatting.

All of us who got taken advantage of by Sakurdate and their fake profiles should support Shawn and his team. He has made many complaints on trust pilot in very detail. What we all need to do, hopefully Shawn is reading this who has the resources and the staff to make a contact to one congressman and one senator where we can all write or call with complaint about Sakuradate, this way Congress and Senate may be able to hear our voices as a group and make laws to do something about this, and possibly help everyone get a refund through fines.. as of now we’re all make a complaint review here and there to different places like trust pilot, or to a congressman in our district, but it’s only one complaint and usually will never be looked at… Sending it to one specific congressman and senator will now have hopefully 100 of complaints and then they may act on it.. It's Sad when you read how many hundreds & thousands individuals have lost thinking this is a legitimate dating website to meet and sharetheir love and soulmate for life, instead you receive emotional anxiety, and financial loss.
Of course, it should be less than one star. Everyone said Support, Shawn and his team as they have the means to do thorough research finding super scamming and super tricky and super wise of the girls, especially with different names on different website obviously, most of them are not real pass me and everybody else a fortune of money for something that is an important human need as part of Gods make up and Social Beings ingrained in our Soul need for Love & Companionship.
Sadly to be scammed and taken advantage of by the smartest criminal psychologist and gangs they are enemies of America to break all of us down financially and mentally. As stated in China Sakuradate is Banned, yet almost 70% of the girls are from China and Sakuradate.. there is no USA oversight to protect our Citizens! Logically think about it even our enemy countries has been this dating site, yet it is allowed to rip off and scam all Americans, nothing has been done about it!
To spend minimum of $1500 just to get a fake email address that’s generated from Sakurdate let the girl or guy has never used without phone number or address yet in desperation of love and taking advantage of a human needs many of us fall for it only to be more disappointed and more financially ripped off when we reach that goal of Paying $1,500. I’m not receiving real contact information and still do not call or video chat.
Everyone of the negative reviews when you read Customer Service response it always says the same thing, right in to Customer Service support. Doesn’t make sense because they are Customer Service. Of course most people are not going to give them their home cell phone number and home address, they are we got ripped off, equally important to remain anonymous as possible, the exact same way Customer Service refuses to have a phone line.. if it’s true that the CEO is a lady professor at the university in Cypress then the president of the university should be notified by all of us with our complaint reviews common until that happens we may find out that professor’s name has only been used without her permission, but we won’t know until somebody writes and report response. But this action should be investigated, not by us the pay regulator of the US government unfortunately, right now many of these departments are being decimated in either reduce substantially or closed. allowing unregulated websites to flourish and take advantage any emotional financial loss to our citizens.
below you’ll see the same Customer Servicewording most likely AI bot, with the exact same wording as most of the other negative reviews… We don’t have your ID number or proper registration name personal cell number and address, customer service suggest you write to Customer Service with more detail, including all your personal information that registered your account.. if trust pilot accepts that exclamation for every negative review, then trust pilot itself may warrant negative review!

I realized this is totally fake dating within minutes. It took only 3 minutes, i haven't even put a profile photo and gotten floods of women interested in me. To top it off the profile women were reaching out to me as if they were desperate. Not just that the women / profiles are fake but the OWNERS are also fake. Their whole intentions on this website is to scam us men who are lonely out of our last penny. To the owners of this website get a real honest profession.

Reply from SakuraDate
Expensive and when I tried to delete my profile, there is nowhere on site to do it. So had to contact customer services which is a bot that keeps on offering small incentives to stay, so IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DELETE YOUR PROFILE.

Reply from SakuraDate
Fake account with bot, who talk really well and try to spend all your money. Date impossible, because you can't send contact information.

Reply from SakuraDate
Trying to unsubscribe from this site is a nightmare. Everytime I received an email I press unsubscribe they continue to send me emails. I try to delete my profile and you have to argue with a bot for 30 min then no confirmation.. A very poor service , please beware and be careful when you sign up to use a random gmail account. Then you can just delete the account its easier.

Reply from SakuraDate
This is a fake website. I experienced it myself. This website. It's a scam. You're not gonna get anything out of it. Please don't fall for this. I'm trying to delete my profile and they're not allowing.

Reply from SakuraDate
I was on there a few minutes and immediately had users liking and sending chat and emails in seconds, some of the emails were so forward it was unnerving. Fake accounts with bot responses are not what I am looking for. Sadly there are way too many of them, which destroys your trust in these sites as the vulnerable are attack, all to make a profit. Whether you believe this is controlled by the site owners, I leave that to you.

Reply from SakuraDate
My personal experience was exactly what I expected. With that said, I have a quick announcement for all platform users. Mainly the gentlemen who find themselves frustrated with this website.
I’ve noticed a lot of guys get upset because a website won’t delete the profile they created. But honestly, there’s no reason to be upset.
If a guy gets angry about this, it really says more about their own struggle with temptation than about the platform itself. Once you master your self-control, there’s no real motive to delete the profile at all. Why? A deleted profile is useless no longer serving its purpose of engaging with other users so....
Whether your profile is deleted, suspended, or just left inactive, the result is the same: you’re not engaging, and you’re not feeding the platform’s cash flow. The company/ website platform is gambling that you won’t resist temptation. That has nothing to do with them and everything to do with you.
Here’s the truth:
Yes, these sites use AI and automation where it benefits them.
No, not every member is there for genuine connection—some are just meeting activity quotas to remain as a free users of the platform, maintaining cash flow towards the platform. Some females are there for a genuine connection.
In conclusion, if you don’t trust the platform, the simplest solution is just don’t use it.
At the end of the day, once you build the strength to resist temptation, the platform loses all power over you. That’s the real solution—not deleting the user profile.
So my recommendation is simple: stop worrying about whether the site deletes your account. In my opinion one should focus on mastering temptation. Because once you do that, the platform has no control.
-Update for clarity-
First of all thanks for your reply. However, let’s be clear my review wasn’t a complaint and I wasn’t asking for support. I was merely pointing out things I noticed. Just voicing my observations about how platforms like this operate (in my opinion), and the role of self-control that plays for users.
Another observation on just the reply in regards to my review. The response looks like a copy-paste template, since it asks me to provide account details and reach out to support? Even though nothing in my review requires that. This mismatch all the more reiterates and reemphasizes my point that much of the interaction here feels automated rather than genuine.
So to clarify for anyone reading I wasn’t seeking assistance, I was sharing perspective. The fact that the company responded with a generic script only reinforces my view of how much automation is at play.
