Its so obvious this site is a scam site. Asking to delete ones profile is damn near impossible. You will ask for it to be deleted only to come back weeks later its still there.

I'd give this site zero stars if I could. It is a total scam. The entire purpose of the site is to try to extract ever dollar they can. Users are led down a path of spending thousands of dollars with paid woman and bots losing interest once they have your money. The site has incredible technology to blur and otherwise prevent you from chatting outside the site. They talk a lot about a safe space but the reality is they just want you to keep spending and spending. It is worse than a gambling site.

do not visit this site, the girls are paid to keep you online and will send you photos and videos which you will keep paying for, it is fake they love every guy on there. dont fall for this!!!

Total rip off this site is full of scammers. I was chatting to a girl on here and I jumped through all the hoops paid to get contact with her and then she told me her phone broke so she couldn’t talk to me so we emailed for awhile then she told me she needed an operation so we talked for awhile more I made arrangements to go to see her in her country and then all of a sudden she had to go to Europe for an operation so I spent a week alone in her country while she was supposedly in Europe but when she went to Europe, she didn’t take my email address so I had to go back on the site one month I spent £500 talking to her on this terrible site. Then I found out she was still talking to other men after she was telling me she was only there for me, so now I don’t trust anybody on here don’t waste your money on here it is a total scam

they suck you in, so you will be tempted to keep buying credits, its all lies, the gorgeous women in photos , where they look like models, dont write to you, or are paid to do so, or are bots, just to get you to spend more. dont fall for it, i did

AI generated images ! AI generated messages back to you some are very bad ! They are not real responses and you are asked to buy credits ! Can’t trust putting credit card numbers into their site which will be open to scams talking to AI !
Your response is topical BS ! Shame on you and your CEO ! You are a paying site and interested in money only not humans !

its a total ripoff, its a trap play for anyone that goes on that site. you cant get any contact information from who you are speaking with. to send a text it costs you 2 credits per minute. then if you send a photo it will cost you 10 credits. to send a audio message costs you 10 credits. to send a video it will cost you 50 credits. thats using their message text.
now to use the letterit costs you 10 credits just to open letterif there is any extras like photos the first one is free but anymore starting with second photo costs you 10 credits per photo. to sent an audio costs you 10 credits per each one. to sent a video it will cost you 50 credit per video. now for the contact request is bullshit you have to spend 5000 credits in talking to a lady plus have 15 days. then to get the lady contact information it will cost you 500 credits to put in the request. i did the math if you buy the level of 830 credits for $199.but you need to buy that level 7 times which equal $1393 that covers all the cost that the site demands. this is for just only one lady. so what do you thing of the site now..

This company is an absolute ripoff. Moreover, despite repeated request to close my account, they refuse to do so. This is because they want to use your profile to convince lonely woman that there is someone out there. DO NOT, under any circumstances sign on.

I gave it 1 star, wish I could give -5 stars!! What an unprofessional organization. I requested to have my account/profile deleted maybe 7 - 8 times now. The first time I asked they said it would take 7 days for this to happen. I waited the 7 days and was still getting unsolicited stuff from them, which continues. I am not sure what their game is, bully people till they do not delete their account?? I really do not know. The last few times I have contacted them, the representative said oh yes I can see you have wanted your account deleted, I will do this right away. Guess what...................nope was not done. And once again it was not done. I really do not get their game. What can one say, very unprofessional. So after 3 weeks and maybe 10 times contacting them I do believe my profile has been deleted, so professional!!

as noted by many others
took a lot of money and ended up with nothing.
whatever you do,
DO NOT COMPLETE A SURVEY.
they tell you if you complete a survey you will be able to contact that "Special Person"
Only 3 more questions, only 3 more questions, OH my darling don't you want to be with me?"
hahaha, "I am calling you now, why aren't you answering?"
go somewhere nice and meet a real person

This is a perfect site for an online chatting experience and absolutely useless for a dating experience. If you want to date someone, you want sequentially to communicate by email, by txt/Whatsapp, by phone calls and face to face. When the site does everything to stop such information being shared, it cannot be called a dating site.
It is also the case that many profiles clearly use pictures of multiple women (ears changing shape, different hip shape, broader rib cage etc), not to mention incompatible sizes of more erotic zones in pictures shared in chat.
There is plenty of indication that several profiles are AI generated and that conversations may well be AI driven too. How many real women send 20+ txt messages to a male who does not respond (there is no free feature allowing you to say 'Not interested', which means that any financially sane male doesn't reply)?
So three challenges: filter out the AI profiles; eliminate the bots chatting to you and get the email/mobile number of a real woman you might actually meet.
Best bet: look to meet someone coming on holiday anyway to your city, meet them at the airport and exchange details there. Then they can enjoy their holiday, with or without you but the ability to 'date normally' is then achieved.
That's assuming that someone gives you truthful airline data and doesn't snigger as an 18 year old Turkish man faking being a Shenzhen woman wasting your time and money....

This website is a total scam. Do not go on it. The women aren’t real. It’s just a big scam.

I found the reviews here to be accurate and I wanted to add another point of view. I deleted my profile, I was offered a small amount of credits to continue, I declined the offer, my profile seemed to be deleted, a week went by and I started receiving more messages again, once again I contacted the site and I demanded the profile be deleted. It's still up,misleading others.
January 21st 2026
Still receiving letters from members, I just delete them instead of going through their hoops.

Had a look at this, instant replies from people when you look then constant messages with no indication they looked at the profile. If you wanted to make contact with anybody (assuming they were real) it would cost you a minimum of £1,319 🤣
So this is clearly a scam site and you should stay well away.
Despite requesting deletion of my account it is still active two weeks later and still being bombarded with AI messages and email notifications, which are quite frankly sickening attempts to get people to respond. One example below shows how they try to manipulate people. Don't fall for it and don't spend any money on it.
"My friend tried to set me up with her brother but i clearly said that i am not interested, She invited me to her house party if you are not going to reply then , should i go?"
21/01/2026 and despite following the process to delete the account, it is still active and I still receive multiple emails every day.
15/02/2026 Update: still not deleted, still spamming me constantly. Been through the deletion process from hell again refusing offers and begging.

Fortunately for me I quickly thought that Sakura was a scam and researched the many negative reviews on Trust Pilot before I wasted much money.
I agree that the so-called hundreds of girls who bombarded me with promises of love and sex are actors employed by Sakura to get lonely men to spend a fortune wasting credits on the Sakura site. There are likely also bots given the speed and absurdity of message replies.
I set the traps recommended by other Sakura scam victims including asking for immediate photos of the girls with either 3 fingers pointing skywards, my name written on a piece of paper or a copy of today's local newspaper when they say they live in Australia. 3 photos came back but were shoddily copied and photoshopped photos from their profile shots. Seriously, how dumb are these people ?
The best way I found to expose the scammers was to ask the fake women to firstly procure a pen and paper, then tell them what to write and send you a photo of themselves including face holding up the message.
The actors or bots completely melted down and sent back confused, garbled and incoherent replies.
Given that letters, videos and photos cost tens to hundreds of credits (at Australian 70 cents per credit) I told the Sakura actors that I refuse to use anything but the 2 credits per minute messaging (preparing messages elsewhere then copying them across to Sakura to minimise time charges).
Once I told them that that the pledges of true love stopped immediately.
I'm sure there are several actors working on daily shifts pretending to be the same girls (who are miraculously online 24 hours per day) given they can't remember what either I or the phony girls said a few hours earlier, including their own invitations and details of their travel arrangements to meet the man of their dreams. The actors are either lazy or stupid, or perhaps both.
Even after pointing out their dumb mistakes the actors go straight out and repeat their same mistakes again.
The Sakura owners should introduce shift handover meetings for the incoming and outgoing actor shifts so the incoming shift knows what promises and pledges have been made so they can be perpetuated. The contradictions are amazing.
Even better they become hostile and nasty when you challenge then or tell them you won't waste money on videos letters etc
I estimate that 1 actor simultaneously pretends to be at least 20 different girls on any one day otherwise they wouldn't be able to scam enough $$ to live off.
It is little wonder the actors can't remember who they are talking to or what they've previously said, nor what the previous shift actors have said.
I've got a few more credits to burn up and it's quite fun playing them at their own game, but remember don't open or send any letters, photos or videos, and ask for the photo of the written message as dictated by you. (postscript- I just got an AI photoshopped image holding up the piece of paper with the message on it, fortunately I recognised the photo from the fake profile page. Beware, they are onto us !)
I'm astounded some government authority hasn't closed Sakura down already.

What a joke, what a terrible concept. Awful people pretending to like you. Every chat you have with them costs you credits at ridiculously inflated prices. You have to ask permission to delete your account? WTF!!!! You have to answer a battery of questions just to unsubscribe from the stream of stupidity.

If I could give negative stars, for the same reasons already stated by countless users of this site.
A person could fly to another country, stay a month, and meet a lady for what these scammers want, just to exchange information.
Then you have to exchange countless emails just to have the account deleted or removed. This has been the worst experience.
In contrast, Japandate or one of their affiliate sites, you can easily exchange information and meet a lady, as I have done.
Sakuradate should be removed from the internet completely. Be warned of these thieves, you will waste your money for nothing.
