My son recently purchased a Sail and Ski voucher, but I am unable to use it as it appears the shop has closed. No communication as to why, and I have lost the value of my voucher. Very disappointed.

Great shop for snowboard gear

Just bought some snowboard goggles from them (online) and the whole experience was great. They arrived quickly, with tracking, and were packaged securely. The goggles were a great price and I'm excited to get out on the slopes (hopefully soon!) and try them out. Brilliant all round service from them and I'll definitely be buying from them again in the future.

Great service and communication

I am so pleased with the service received by Sail and Ski! I have to admit that these days I'm worried about buying from any seller other than Amazon but the communication has been brilliant and the personal help I've received from Dave has been fantastic. Many thanks from a very happy customer with 2 sets of amazing skis!!

Easy order & quick delivery

A straight forward transaction. Ordered on Sunday and the ski helmet was received on Wednesday. Very quick and easy. Once you take into consideration most ski sites are European and by the time you have paid the import tax the UK prices actually work out cheaper!

I ordered some ski trousers from the website. Unfortunately they were out of stock and shops were then closed due to lockdown. Adam emailed and offered me some alternatives, which arrived promptly and are a perfect replacement.
Great service, thank you.

Good experience

Ordered a ski bag from here, I only give 4 stars as the item was sold out and it took me emailing them for them to let me know. The service was great from that point onwards however and they gave me some other colour options and sent it in next day delivery! Still a great experience with them

Very helpful staff

Very helpful staff. I processed an online order for a helmet and only afterwards realised I hadnt applied the 10% off code. Phoned them up and were happy to refund the difference. Really good customer service.

Great skis / great service

Great skis, great service and great price. I knew what skis and bindings I wanted, spoke to Ben on the phone in the morning on Thursday; he was very knowledgeable and helpful and we agreed on price, he took details for fitting of the bindings and free delivery, and the skis turned up at our door at midday on Friday, exactly as promised. We would certainly recommend this company, and would use them again.

Fantastic service

Fantastic service. I was looking for advice on a couple of wetsuits, one for a triathlon and one for surfing. I was able to try on a range of suits and given the lowdown on pros and cons of each type. Walked away with a great suit and sure i'll be back for the other one soon!

Speedy delivery, fantastic customer service!

I brought a triathlon bag as a gift, taking advantage of the Bank Holiday 10% off offer. The product page was a little confusing (since rectified) so I ended up ordering the wrong colour. I used the online chat facility to contact Product Adviser, Ben, who instantly addressed the issue and corrected my order. Super quick dispatch. The bag was received in perfect condition the next morning. Very impressed with speed of delivery and flexible customer service. Well done!

No interest after the sale....

Excellent customer service

Bought some skis recently via the website and was informed same night that although payment had gone through, skis were actually out of stock. Was offered an upgrade promptly for a small premium considering the substitute skis were significantly more expensive and the skis arrived the following day - thanks and looking forward to using them

Brilliant Customer Service

The site is not the best but the pricing is great which i feel cancels each other out but the area that makes them great is customer service.

I accidentally ordered my kit in the wrong size, one phone call later and the team confirmed the amend via email and my delivery arrived as hoped for inside the anticipated delivery time. Happy days...

Will definitely use them again.

Great customer service, fast and reliable!

Ordered skis and bindings late Monday night and they came by Wednesday afternoon (using first class option - £1.99), everything was exactly how I ordered it and received free poles too!
Will be shopping here in future as great prices and products! Would recommend to anyone!

No communication

I ordered my product and it arrived with all the usual automated emails, which is always fine until things go wrong. As in this case they had sent the wrong product.
There was a returns form in there, which I filled out and sent back with the product at some cost to myself, I also phoned them to check that the item I had ordered to begin with was actually in stock, there was no answer so I left a message and anticipated (as was suggested in the voicemail message) that they would call me back, this never happened.

The correct product did arrive a few days later, following on the heels of all the usual automated emails again. This time with no returns form and not even a note of apology for the inconvenience and cost they caused me.

It really can be the little things that make a difference.

EDIT: Refund of the postage cost was issued with no fuss, and went through quickly, so they get an extra star for putting things right.

Great products shame about the service...

I purchased a ski bundle, boots, ski's, poles and bag. After placing the order I received a text from the courier advising when the delivery would take place so I booked a day off to wait in. I tracked the delivery most of the day and it said the order was out for delivery it got to about 4pm and this changed to delivery changed by recipient! I was quite confused and angry as I'd waited in all day and no one had turned up.
I called the courier to find out what was going on and from the very start the lady was rude, abrupt and very unhelpful. I asked why it said I had changed the delivery when I clearly hadn't and explained that I had taken a day off specially to wait in! She said the courier couldn't find your house... We supplied a phone number at point of ordering which was used by you to let me know the delivery would take place today! Why did not get a call and why does the website say I changed the delivery?! I was told very abruptly "so you expect the driver to use his personal phone do you?"! All I can say is I was shocked! So... I called sail and ski who were not particularly bothered either and as far as they were concerned they had done there bit and it was down to the courier. I explained that from my perspective I am your customer and you have chosen to use this courier not me! If I want to cancel my order and go elsewhere I am more than welcome to... Excellent customer service sail and ski... Shame for a company that provide decent products at a reasonable price you have forgotten about the importance of customer care!

Great Service

Ski's and poles ordered, and they arrived the next day. Customer services informed me of the status of the order at every stage and personally answered any queries I had.
Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic Service

Ordered a New Lib Tech Lando Pheonix 160 board at 12pm on Thursday 22nd of december but didn't want to pay the extra for 1-2 day delivery to guarantee it before christmas so got it sent out for free. It still arrived the next day at 10am witch is amazing seeing as its the busiest time of the year for the Couriers 2 days before christmas plus they chucked in a new Burton snowboard bag with about £50.

Would highly recommend!
