This was a torturous experience
This was a torturous experience. I am a retired college professor who taught face to face and online.
Much of the material was just read from the script. Graphics were limited and unengaging. The flow of the lessons was not well thought out. The themes also did not work together. The opening idea was that of the warrior. Later on, the idea was that the driver should not be aggressive. I agree with this premise, but don’t see how it fits with the earlier warrior image. The statistics were vague… “a recent study”. Doesn’t give the student any idea of the date of the study. It could have been 15 years ago. The class seems that it was put together years ago and hasn’t been updated since.

Outdated course content and software
Outdated course content and software. It glitches constantly, making the course twice as long. I had to call twice, switch browsers, and switch computers to make it work. The data is from 2007; e.g., the speed limit is 25 in NYC, not 30 as stated in the course. The design is also outdated and should be modernized. Although I did learn a few things, the course was too repetitive. I recommend others try another vendor.

Being able to work on the course at my own pace worked very well for me.
The online format worked way better for me than if I had to sit for a 6 hour class. It was easier to break it down into sections that I could do each day. I believe that I learned more by doing the defensive driving course on line.
