Safar is a Persian-inspired street food business based in Hertfordshire, built around simple food, bold flavours and cooking over charcoal. Our menu centres around joojeh chicken and koobideh kebabs, served in warm pitta or with rice, alongside house-made accompaniments including ezme and our lemon & dill yoghurt. Safar was created from a love of cooking and the food and flavours I grew up around in an Iranian household. The idea is simple: take those influences and turn them into approachable street food, cooked fresh and served without overcomplicating it. We're currently growing Safar through pop-ups, events and catering across Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas. Absolutely fantastic food! Would definitely order again. The seasoning on the chicken was delicious and the yoghurt and dill dressing was the perfect addition.

Meat was very tender and was flavoursome. The homemade sauces were the star of the show and complimented the meat perfectly. Food was ideal for adults and little ones. Totally recommend.
