I have used Sabon shower oil for 18 years. I recently expanded to buy a hand mask and scrub. The product jar was open and mask is solid and dried out. The only way to contact them is to send an email. (There is NO PHONE NUMBER., I have sent two. It has been two weeks with no response. This is non-existent customer service.
The company is garbage. I used to buy their products when I lived in New York City 20 years ago and they were selling at the market on Union Square. Things were great then, you could just pick up your product and go. Now that they have gotten bigger their Customer Service is unprofessional and ineffective. I purchased something online from them 10 years ago and it was so bad that I did not go back until a month ago. A month ago they had a sale and I decided to give them another chance. And they dropped the ball yet again. Two items were missing from my package. I contacted them and they/Claire responded and appeared not to know a thing about it because she asked ME to send her the master packing list that was in the package. I sent it to her and it clearly showed that the two items were not shipped in the package. Claire then told me that the items were on back order (news to me) and would ship when they were available. No expectation date given. A little time goes by and I email Claire saying that this is taking too long, I would like a refund instead. Claire responds and informs me that she would need to speak with “upper management“ and for me to be patient because it would take “some time”. Really????!! What year is this? Am I dealing with a business or am I dealing with lemonade stand with upper management. I inevitably had to file a case with PayPal and am awaiting my money back because Claire and upper management never got back to me, never sent the product to me, and never issued a refund to me.
What a terrible company this become after the stores closed.
Order came in after THREE weeks.
NO reply on my messages.
2 products where unavailable, they did NOT ask if I wanted to stop the entire order.
When replying after the info from 2 products not in stock, that I wanted to do stop the entire order, suddenly the order was send.
In the order I asked to wrap the products nicely and one per package as they where gifts, they did not border to read this and put them in 1 box without wrapping them. This is not what Sabon was about in the past. Will return the package but I trust this will also become a problem.
