Ali Cloak the partner dealing with our claim was extremely patient and hardworking and worked seamlessly in order to achieve and get the results for our son who died due to numerous negligent failures. We are impressed with the shear volume of witnesses that had to be called to the Coroner's Court and appreciate all the efforts made on our son's behalf. It was extremely heart breaking to find out how our son was being treated. We are pleased that this claim has now been settled and relieved we can get on with our lives as this took over 5 years to complete due to COVID and a long waiting list for hearings at the Coroner's office. We are pleased with the results which were extremely good and now that it is now finalised. We thank Ali Cloak for all her efforts and for everything she did for us.

It is hard to find the words really to begin to express my thoughts and thanks about Rachel. She has quite simply changed our lives forever and had an impact on us that we will never forget.

When you are studying for a career, we all want to try and make a difference and think we can change the world and peoples’ lives for the better, but few of us actually achieve it to the scale Rachel does and she does it with such humility and a gentle loving kindness.

These past few months and year have been the worst of our lives. My dad has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and it has been the worst time of our lives. Apart from the actual shock and trauma of the diagnosis, as we had no idea, it was so hard trying to navigate all the paperwork and work out what we needed to do to support dad. That’s where Rachel came in.

Rachel has been by our side from the very beginning. She has explained what could be owing to us to help dad with his day to day needs and has fought for our family for justice, no matter how hard and rude the opposing side has been. When you are really scared and in trouble and don’t have a clue about what to do next you really need someone.

Rachel was our guardian angel. She explained everything to us slowly and as many times as dad needed (which was too many at times!). She was genuinely by our side the whole time and day or night and even at weekends, she was there to advise and guide. She was our rock and our friend as well as being the most incredible professional I’ve had the privilege to be working with.

We literally would not have achieved anything without Rachel. We trusted her when we gave up hope; we followed her lead at every twist and turn and we always made sure we listened to her and followed her advice exactly.

She could not have done anything more for us and always did it with the ultimate professional attitude and a smile and such tender kindness in her heart.

We could not have asked for anyone better. She’s an absolute credit to her profession and she is unforgettable once you have the great fortune to know her and work with her.

The journey has been so difficult but Rachel has done everything in her power to make it as seamless as she can for us and shouldered it all to make the work as little as possible for dad.

She has changed our lives and I hope we can still remain in contact and we would recommend Rachel so much to anyone who is lucky enough to have her.
