Total scam company… I have never used nor have I traveled abroad nor have I ever even heard of this company… but this is the second month in a row that I have received $1 charge to my account. Changed card last month but yet again this month a new charge was made. I have filed complaints with bank but this company is based out of Madrid Spain…I am beyond pissed at this point and will be doing my best to contact the authorities in Spain to file charges against them…

Had never heard of this company.

A claim for £0.88 ((EUR1.00) made on my card account.

No idea why.

Asking card company to investigate and reverse.

Scared it might be the precursor to a much larger claim.

Where to start?
Very poor communication: one e-mail adress with unprofessional response time. One whatsapp number that you cannot call. A not-reactive team based outside of Europe, who can barely speak English or Spanish.
Blurry functionmnent of the platform, going through apartments' "managers" who claim not to work for Ruums.
Deposit given back 40 days after leaving the apartment.
I got charged 395€ on my bank account for no reason 2 months after leaving the flat. Obviously i get no answers to my e-mails and whatsapp messages, as usual.
If you want to avoid troubles, avoid this bunch of good-for-nothings.

Ruums returned our deposit late after we continuously messaged them on Instagram, WhatsApp and email. During our length of stay different employees of Ruums would let themselves into the apartment at all hours with no warning to use our toilet, have cigarettes in our spare room and show people around the other rooms late at night (e.g. 10:30 pm on a Monday). If you are staying somewhere for a short period of time they are suitable as they provide short contracts, but for longer than 6 months I would avoid them as they are constantly in your apartment without warning or reason, which can be frightening when you are home alone.
