I am incredibly grateful to Ian. He helped my Fiance find a beautiful handcrafted (by Ian) ring box to propose with!
I am touched that he would be so excited for his customers and it was lovely to see him again at Ingestre Wedding Fayre. Everything is truly crafted to perfection and I will treasure the ring box for many years to come!

The quality of this man's work is phenomenal. I bought a lamp off him at a show in Staffordshire and there were many stalls there but there was just something about the craftsmanship, dedication, time and love that goes into all his pieces of work. I will be buying from him again.
Every visitor that comes to our house compliments the lamp that was bought from him.

I wanted a unique wooden board to be a part of a table centrepiece and Ian didn’t disappoint. It looks beautiful and the finish is amazing. His site even has information on caring for your item/wood once you have purchased it. Would highly recommend his company.

I ordered an engraved tea light holder from Ian. Throughout the order process, he communicated well and kept us up to date with when it might be ready. The finished product was of high quality - the engraving was clear and the finish smooth. Very happy with the finished product and the service.

Ian made us a house name plaque in oak. His customer service is excellent, sending photos to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. It is beautiful and we love it and would have no hesitation in recommending him. We wish him every success.

In my experience at Rustic Ideas. I found Ian extremely well mannered, extremely professional but yet very friendly and approachable, making my house number to my exacting standards. Nothing was to much bother and was willing to try anything on my plaque for me. Achieving what I had only in my imagination he managed to draw it out and engraved it upon my plaque, the overall finished product was ready to take home with me within a matter of two hours. I also found mounting my house number plaque in my chosen position very easy after making a paper template of my plaque. Fixing it in place with the four mountings as supplied.

As a classic car owner and a lover of obscure makes sometimes its nice to be able to commission beautiful items with the cars brand on it.
My "Lagonda" keyring and Sign are cut to perfection in the shape of the 1950's wings of Icarus badge.In fact they are things of beauty

Fell in love with a bespoke beautifully handcrafted clock in solid oak a truly one of a kind piece of art now proudly gracing our home. Ian really has a flare for the unique and unusual pieces, “And I call it Art” that he produces. I would highly recommend Rustic Ideas if your looking for that unique look for your home or garden

The most beautiful wooden plaque for our new home, bamboo wood engraved beautifully with our names and a special symbol to us. Ian is a brilliant woodworker and such a lovely man, we cannot recommend him enough!

Ian came to see as we had a lovely olive wood piece from one of his markets, he immediately looked at the stands we use for leaflets and also chopping boards and said he could make them out of Oak with our logo! for the Whisky side of the business this was perfect, he hand-delivered the item and they blew us away with the quality, we are now using Ian to supply lots of things at the Mercia spirits Lab.
