Slightly to big for me despite getting small, LOVE cups instead of tampons
To big for me. Even though I use the smallest version.
First time ever using cups.
Most days it's quite good, never perfect and my body does weird things.
I love it,since I cannot feel it. (Tampons give me insane pains, cups don't)
Unfortunately taking it out sometimes sucks, since it just won't come out and keeps itself stuck. But that's probably a cup thing, not the fault of this specific company.

If with "too big" you meant that the cup is too long and the stem sticks out from the vaginal opening, you can shorten it with a pair of scissors.
Once properly inserted and open up, the cup create a suction that keeps it well positioned and prevents leaks. In order to correctly remove it, remember that it is very important that you press the walls of the cup inwards to release/break the suction.

After taking the put it in a cup quiz, the Ruby cup was one of the suggested cups. I really like the ethos of Ruby cup and that it helps other women in the world. The ruby cup was my first cup!
I was super happy with it and then it started getting an odor even though I constantly clean it and don’t leave it in too long. I’m sure it somehow was user error but it hasn’t happened to my other cups. I still use it often though!

Hi Darian, thanks a lot for sharing your feedback with us! Generally, the cup shouldn't have any kind of smell. Any smell usually stems from your discharge, which can change because of a change in hormones, infections or after taking specific medication like antibiotics.
We have some tips for you to get rid of the odour:
-Sun dry your menstrual cup: this trick is very simple. Just find a good sunny spot, leave it there for some hours, and let the sun do the work for you (don’t leave it in a place that is too hot as the cup can melt).
-Clean thoroughly: clean your cup thoroughly each time you remove it and reinsert it. Also ensure that all hollow areas and rim holes are completely clean.
- Lemon juice: you can either wipe your menstrual cup with it or let it soak in it for at least an hour. Furthermore, don’t forget to boil your cup for a few minutes and make sure that all the lemon juice is removed.
We hope one of these tricks will help you out!
Ruby cup is SO comfortable
Ruby cup is SO comfortable, so easy to use, and such a perfect fit for me. I tried other cup brands, but none was as comfy as Ruby. I LOVE their mission of buy one give one, and am so glad they're certified by the vegan society. Both of those things matter so much to me and it's why I picked Ruby over the many other brands out there. The rim of the cup is firm enough to hold its shape where needed, but the body is so comfy and soft. I'll always use a Ruby and the only thing I don't like about cups is that I didn't try them sooner! I've used one for three years now and am never going back.

Smartest purchase I've ever made.
I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to use my Ruby Cup right from the get-go. I practiced the fold a few times before I used it, and then when I had to insert it for the very first time in a public restroom, I was prepared and ready to go. It was comfortable and I couldn't feel it while I was wearing it. Getting it out was easy too, and it cleans off much more quickly than I was anticipating. I never give anything five stars, but I expected a lot of challenges using a cup for the first time, and I have yet to experience any. I have worn it while biking and doing yoga, and it has never leaked on me. I have not worn it to sleep at night, but I probably will after I use up the last of my overnight pads. I've had it for three cycles now, and I love it. I would definitely buy another. I like the texture of the silicone and the grip on the stem, which is why I chose Ruby Cup over other brands. I'm very pleased.
