Baught osrs acc stole back 2yrs later

Baught a RuneScape account and 2 years later got a message from jagex saying it was returned to original creator and had my account banned and lost the character I worked hard to lvl.

Edit I did reach out and was told it’s my fault for purchasing an out of house account and the don’t offer a warranty or guarantee on them.
