Rowan Energy rewards people for living a more sustainable life. Rowan increases your rewards from rooftop solar by giving you an extra 10p for every kWh generated within your kWp package size. You only need solar, and a small, low-powered device called a Rowan SmartMiner. A SmartMiner is a SmartMeter and blockchain Miner in one. It's easy and quick to install. Rowan Rewards do not affect any subsidies or feed-in tariffs you are already paid.

If it looks to good to be true it is
Got some quotes for my solar panels installation and one of them were offering something they called smart miner. Never heard of it so went and Google it since it sounded to good to be true (being paid quite a bit extra on top of the feed in tariff). Glad I had a look as there are quite a few allegations against them on internet but no response from company to deny them. Will steer away.

DO NOT TRUST THEM!
I lost everything I put into this project — and even went into debt believing in their vision. They kept making public promises of recovery while silently inflating the token supply, causing the price to crash. Now they’ve shut it all down, claiming the model 'wasn’t viable' anymore. It feels like they strung holders along until there was nothing left. This has been financially and emotionally devastating. I genuinely don’t understand how the team sleeps at night after so many people lost tens of millions collectively. I wouldn’t be surprised if this ends up in court — many investors have lost too much to just walk away

We have been lied to for years
There is no connection between smart miner and blockchain. Rowan Energy CEO promised us that the new chain would be created with all the transparency. It turns out that he deceived his investors who believed in him to fund his business. He manipulated the coin prices and retired the coin, leaving all investors with serious losses. Stay away from this company.

If I could, this would be zero stars
I'll not reiterate the statements of other crypto investors here, suffice to say I am another who suffered from broken promises not once, twice, but more times than I can remember.
On the crypto side this happened with a lack of transparency of total number of coins in circulation on two occasions. Repeated promises were given and not delivered upon in many aspects of the crypto development. It culminated in the recent events by the white hacker minting event / exposure described in other reviews.
My opinion today is that this is a company very much not deserving of any persons "trust" as this very review website is named, in any venture be it crypto or smart miners.
As a further note, I also investigated taking on a Smart Miner via their partner at that time ESE group. In that instance a number of troubling stories about past activity and legal cases for that business put me off. Seeing that some customers are now not getting their payments I feel fortunate I got cold feet on that front too.

No Issues Here!
Unlike other reviews, I have to say that I've had no problems or concerns during the time I've dealt with Rowan Energy. If things continue in the future in a similar fashion, I'm sure my comments will remain unaltered.
HMRC and the FCA have been contacted
I have contacted HMRC and the FCA regarding the drop of the token value and the lack of accountability or answers.
An action group has also been launched and legal advice is being sought.

Rowan Energy listed a crypto token for fundraising. After recieving millions the CEO and shareholder of Rowan destroyed the token and left people emty handed. Beside that the blockchain for the Carbon credits is running on a fake / fraudulant blockchain, so they can burn and create as Many Carbon credits as they want. Please dont fall for this pyramid game.

If I could leave 0 Stars I would. Where is David Duckworth, CEO and Founder of Rowan Energy? No doubt hiding out in Dubai or somewhere similar with the millions he’s scammed from hardworking investors, like myself. You can run but you can’t hide forever Dodgy Dave.

Unfortunately I was one of the many investors impacted due to Rowan Energy's Blockchain experiment which had cost me most of my life's savings.
The chain was kept private by the CEO David Duckworth with a dubious explorer giving transactions that couldn't be fully validated. Turned out the chain had a secret mint function which was being exploited over a period of years for many 10s of millions of investors money.
In David's write up of events he even had the audacity to blame the community when the white hat bought all of this to light.
Do some googling on him before any dealings.

David hyped green blockchain tech, but behind the scenes, he sold off RWN while pretending to build. Investors were dumped on. No roadmap, no refund, nothing.

Rowan Energy & CEO David Duckworth – A Cautionary Tale for Crypto Investor
As a long-time crypto investor, I regret ever getting involved with Rowan Energy and their RWN token. What started off as a promising project in the renewable energy blockchain space turned into what many now believe to be a well-orchestrated exit strategy. CEO David Duckworth and his team minted massive amounts of RWN tokens while promoting "green energy innovation" and sold off large quantities during hype phases, profiting while the rest of us held the bag.
The final blow came when Rowan suddenly announced the "retirement" of the RWN token, effectively killing all utility and hope for recovery. Thousands of investors were left with worthless tokens, with no transparency, accountability, or any attempt at reimbursement. All communication was either vague or completely cut off.
The whole experience has the hallmarks of a scam wrapped in a green energy narrative—misleading investors, pumping tokens for internal profit, then abandoning the project when it no longer suited them.
Avoid Rowan Energy at all costs and be cautious with any new project promising sustainability and crypto without delivering real value. For many of us, this was a very expensive lesson in trust.

Avoid Rowan
My experience with Rowan Energy is shocking, as an early investor in the blockchain which funded the business. There was meant to be an audit which never came, then the token was shutdown with no proper compensation or communication it’s very suspicious. I would not recommend this company.

Rowan energy isnt trustworthy
David, the CEO of Rowan Energy, has failed to deliver on the promises he made to investors over the past 2–3 years. Despite repeated commitments — including a full chain audit — he abruptly shut down the Rowan token without any proper explanation. Many, including myself, had invested our life savings based on his assurances. This sudden closure and lack of transparency is deeply disappointing and raises serious concerns about trust and accountability. David's actions have proven to be unreliable and untrustworthy.Cant trust this man.
