Decals minor issues but generally good

Great selection of materials of very good quality.

The only issue I've had is the decals. They're nicely printed but have obvious printer ribbon lines in the gold pigment. It does change with the viewing angle though. I've since noticed some pages on the website mention the issue, but it isn't on the page I ordered from.

R&F have been a good company in the past and I can recommend them otherwise.

The plethora of products available on the site meant that I could be even more creative in my craft project than I had initially planned.

The team are super supportive and on hand to help.

Good quality decal but skill needed to apply

I ordered a decal for a guitar I am building. It duly arrived in good time and was to the specification I had ordered. I was very pleased with it. I followed the instruction during the application process and after three mist coats of lacquer all was looking well. After the required cure time, I then gave a further couple of thicker coats of lacquer. Unfortunately, when the lacquer had gone off, I was disappointed to see that in some light angles I was still able to see the raised edges of the transfer. I was disappointed and sanded it all off again. I am sure the decal was not at fault, it was just my inability to finish to the required standard. Be sure you have the ability to finish to your expectations, or chose another finish. I have reverted to a different form of headstock decoration and have used an oiled finish, which is much less demanding for the amateur.

I've been using this company for over 12…

I've been using this company for over 12 months now and every order has been 100% spot on.

I've even called them for advice and they were nice over the phone.

Orders arrive sooner than expected. I've always selected the tracking option (Not because of them but to fnd out when it'll arrive so I know I am in)

Great company that delivers to a high standard.

Products are amazing (I wished I used your paints first) would have saved hours of work.

Rothko and Frost - highly recommended.

I have received excellent service from this business. I ordered a custom decal for a guitar I am building. I received email confirmation of the order promptly and delivery was very smooth.
The decal was exactly as I wanted it and the included instructions were very helpful. I had some further questions about the method of application and the staff at Rothko and Frost were really knowledgeable and helpful - I could not have asked for a better service experience! Thanks!

After reading the reviews I was abit…

After reading the reviews I was abit hesitant to order from this site but as they sell on Amazon I thought I’d give it a go. I ordered Friday 29th jan and got email confirmation straight away. Dispatch email on the following Monday morning and my order turnt up today a day early from what the tracking said. Very pleased. I haven’t yet used the product but pleased that my orders here in great time. Thanks

I placed my order on 8/21/2020 and did…

I placed my order on 8/21/2020 and did receive a confirmation email with my order number, the email claimed that a tracking number was created and to wait for that email. I never did receive that email and it is now 9/01/2020 and have no idea where my package is. I would not order from this place at all.

Sorry to see that you went to the trouble of writing a review on TrustPilot without contacting us first - we have email, contact form and phone available.

To recap, you placed your order for 1 face mask on 20th August and selected Untracked Airmail shipping. This service does not have any tracking. As per shipping estimates on our website and during checkout this service usually takes 7-14 days from us here in the UK to you in the USA, so I'd expect the item to be with you shortly.

If it hasn't arrived by this time next week please contact us and we will of course send a tracked replacement.

Recieved my order after a month of messing about…

I had a problem with my first order which I was unhappy about. There was also a problem with my second order. Turns out that the courier was unable to find my house despite it being obvious to every other delivery company. I have modified my feedback to show that R&K are not really to blame for this although maybe they should consider changing courier company.

Delivery attempted on 21/7/2020 at 15:09, and on 22/7/2020 at 15:32
Taken to local Post Office for collection and SMS sent
Email from customer on 2nd August at 15:03, replied to on 3rd August at 11:24
Phoned customer after this as PayPal case opened for a parcel which we dispatched on time and was awaiting local collection, so wanted to know what the issue was
Offered a replacement package, which customer requested we send a week later as they were going on holiday. This was dispatched as requested on 14th August, delivered 15th August by Hermes, tracking 4314277577912281
Original Parcelforce shipment wasn't collected, so was picked up from post office and returned to us on 7th August.

Not sure what the phone line issue was, lines are open 0730-1330 Monday to Friday, the number is on our website and we haven't had any reported outages.

The actual delivery is the one part of this whole process which is out of our control, and as we've all experienced sometimes deliveries don't work out, for myriad reasons. We'll always fix the problems, just need to know about them.

Bad Service and Even Worse Communication

Placed an order 1 week ago and even though everything was in stock according to the site and they commit to same day dispatch nothing has been dispatched yet. I wrote an email 3 days after payment was confirmed and was told by Simon (the owner) that the delay had nothing to do with COVID but something was wrong in the warehouse and he would sort it out and also offered a free stain which I had forgotten to order initially. Now it is 4 days later and still no response and the order still shows as paid but not shipped. I sent an email to cancel my order but 24 hours later there is still no response from them. Their communication is so bad that I think that I have been scammed. Disregard other reviews which I think are fake, stay well clear of this place, there are many alternatives out there which I will be using. Hopefully I can get Paypal to reverse the payment because Rothko and Frost seem to have disappeared.

Yeah, sorry for the delay on this. At the time of ordering one of the items on the website was showing as "In production - dispatched in 3-7 days". This is because it was in production and would take 3-7 days to dispatch. The order was dispatched on the 7th day, in line with our production estimate.

At the time we were at the height of Covid restrictions here in the UK with limited staffing, packing in the warehouse all day and replying to emails in the evening. There are only so many hours in the day and we prioritised getting product made and shipped over emails.
