Do not use Roseways flooring
Kevin, the owner of Roseways Flooring initially came across as personable and a pleasure to deal with. First impressions meant we trusted him to provide a number of services, both supply of and installation of wood and carpet flooring.
Our experience with him has sadly now led to us having to issue legal proceedings to recover monies owed.
Issues have included:
Unfinished work – we have had to employ both decorators and joiners to complete or repair work that was left unfinished or in an unsatisfactory state
Constant missed deadlines and broken promises
Excuse after excuse as to why he didn’t turn up when promised
No expansion gap for wooden floor
Too big an expansion gap in other areas of wooden floor
Missing varnish
Wrong measurements leading to fitting short carpet – still waiting for promised refund
Missing glue on certain areas of wood flooring
Using the completely wrong colour to stain the floor
I have employed dozens of tradespeople over the past two years and most have been professional and easy to deal with. Roseways are the exception to the rule.
