Unprofessional - Not Trustworthy!
Rosedale Academy recently offered me a teaching position at one of their locations in China, the city of Zhuhai.
I had asked the company if I could speak to one of the teachers on their staff to get a sense of what it's like to work there. I make this request whenever I interview for a teaching position. If they can't produce a teacher for me to speak to, it likely reflects an unhealthy work environment.
Rosedale Academy strung me along for several days while they tried to "locate" a teacher to speak with me. They never did. They finally got back to me a week later explaining that they thought I might be a problem employee. Somehow, I would be a problem employee because not a single member of their staff could be trusted to have a two-minute conversation with a new hire (me).
I looked at their website (the Zhuhai website) to learn about the teachers that work there. The website was last updated in 2017.
This is a good company to stay away from!
