Drain removal & advice
Contacted on a Sunday for advice with regards to removal of 2 drains from my back garden. Very very helpful and quick to respond. Suggesting I would need to keep both drains and explaining their uses. Also advised of a blockage and how I would go about unblocking it to prevent any further issues. I was directed to Sam at Roman Rod by a trusted plumber I know, and I am so grateful that I was! We all know that drain blockages are a nightmare, especially in one-toilet households, and it’s fantastic when they’re cleared, but it’s not just about that. It’s also about getting a quick response, a friendly person showing up at your house with a positive attitude and keen to find a solution. I will definitely be contacting this company again in the future (although hopefully not too soon!) and it’s a relief to have made this contact.

A second good experience.
We had used Roman Rod a few years ago to clear a blocked drain, which they did very promptly, quickly and efficiently. This time the drain was not yet fully blocked but we could see signs that it might become blocked. Roman Rod came first thing on the agreed day, texting us to let us know when to expect them (earlier than we had expected). Again the job was done very quickly and efficiently. It helped that they knew the layout of our system.
