Overall, the experience was good. However, communication could use some work. I had to reach out several times for updates.

Not the best experience

The process took way too long. I would get an email every day that I had documents to sign or action to do yet there was nothing there. There were issues with the electronic check deposit so a paper check was issued. I was told I would get the check over night via UPS yet it was sent regular USPS mail and took 4 days to get with no communication as to the change in delivery process. The agent was very hard to understand due to his foreign accent.

Seam to take longer than expected

Seam to take longer than expected. Also was not given the option to have a wire transfer for the debts I wanted to payoff but was mailed checks that I had to find the right address to send them to and then wait again. However, what was my current Equity was taken care of by wire transfer? I don't understand why all could not have been handled by wire transfer.

As the person selling the property

As the person selling the property, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with almost a half a dozen real estate transactions I’ve done in my life. There are too many people involved in the process, I don’t know if that is because you’re so spread out, but I kept getting different stories from each person. When it came to the amount that I had to pay at closing, I was given three different totals. Several times I would call and leave messages and not receive a call back. Personally., I would not recommend rocket mortgage to anybody because of how this transaction went. Honestly, you need to have a check sheet that list everything that both the buyer and the seller needs to provide at the beginning of the process so that everything is there and not peace meal together like mine was.

They sent my check to the wrong address…

They sent my check to the wrong address and it’s impossible to get ahold of anyone. I can’t even talk to anyone.

Payment figures changed immediately…

Payment figures changed immediately after signing intent to continue. That’s after screwing up the previous mortgage escrow account. Then, at closing, multiple documents had the wrong addresses.
