In 50 years of participation in this hobby RobotBirds have been my worst experience by a mile!
4 new S3152 Futaba servos ordered. 2 off supplied with no hardware nor output horns.
One off 2nd hand 148,one off 3004 also 2nd hand. The pair of them worth next to nothing and completely unacceptable.
Warehouse staff blamed but given their responses I suspect a clear case of trying to dupe me with rubbish.
Multiple e-mails,phone calls,requests for images more than once.
Absolutely pitiful and now I learn they're disputing my clear concise description to 3rd party payment facility Klarna.
Should be featured on "Rip Off Britain"!

After my previous bad experience with this company, I accidentally made another small purchase from him last week...tapping too hastily, I only realised who I had bought from when I saw the receipt in my email. Predictably enough, after 8 days, he has not dispatched the item, which is still showing as 'payment received', but he has retained the payment, in breach of the Consumer Credit Act.

This company displays a consistent pattern of malpractice. I would encourage anyone else who is on the receiving end to help others by posting here and also:

- search for 'rcgroups robotbirds' and post on that thread
- post on the 'Reviews' website
- post on google reviews
- contact Trading Standards who now have an online form which is quick and easy to complete

...and of course mention your experiences at your club meetings.

PS: I've used google blocksite to make *sure* I don't order from him again!

Still NO respose fem this midwestern type outfit re the atrocious customer service and false advertising (DSA rules state that omitting vital information from a product is equally as bad as providing false details)
Heads up regarding the Twister rocket glider kit....buy at your own risk, but be prepared to be forced to buy extra items NOT mentioned in their false advertising.
Being a foreign company they obviously don't give a MONKEY'S about the customer, and apparently the distance selling rules don't apply to them. Just another example of the crooked dealing that is becoming so rife where the internet is concerned.

Who sends a pair of counter rotating props in 2 different colours?

I won’t use them again. I’d rather pay hobby king’s extortionate delivery charges. At last the send you the right stuff.

I have had a couple or orders with robot birds and both times items have been missing. Each time I have contacted Robotbirds customer support but they have never replied and the missing items have not been supplied.

The choice of items available from their website is excellent but the customer service so poor I shall avoid in future.

I ordered a Lemon Rx receiver on Sunday with 48 hour delivery and it arrived as expected on Wednesday. Good price, delivered on time, item works great... couldn't ask for any more than that.
