The Gazelle Hotel is a most beautiful…

The Gazelle Hotel is a most beautiful location.
Sitting on the Menai Strait, it is quite the view to wake up to. We spent 3 nights 4 days here and came away totally relaxed.
The rooms are warm and comfortable the shower was fabulous and everything is clean.
The staff were great to talk to, they went above and beyond to help us out after a long day climbing Snowdon.
The food is lovely, the breakfasts are wonderful and much appreciated after a previous long hard day hiking and climbing.
I will refer back to the view, it’s one you will miss when you leave.

Tempest Arms Elslack Ruined

Tempest Arms Elslack ruined.

We used to visit this pub and enjoyed it very much. Authentic, characterful, not trying too hard. Why why why do breweries INSIST on stripping out pubs and ruining them with this generic mediocre decor in which to serve generic mediocre food. I am livid. We are seeing this happen to all of our old characterful pubs- the Fleece in Addingham and the Fountayne at Linton to name but two. Stop doing it!

I will not be returning to what has been a family favourite for years.

Yours angrily

We ordered battered cod and chips at the Victoria Inn Llanbedr, we had previously eaten there and enjoyed the food. On this occasion we were very disappointed to be served reconstituted frozen fish, at £16.95 each and by the seaside we expected whole fish.

Tasteless soup, complained, banned...

I ordered soup a week ago. Staff looked at me in horror but served the soup. The soup was tasteless - probably several days old and had oxidised. Last evening I went in and complained about the soup served the previous week, I was firm and emphatic, gave details, and said "curses and insults to the chef for letting this poor food pass.". Today I was passing, walking my dog when a guy came out and banned me from this Ship hotel. I replied "There is a rule in retail that if you like our service, tell others, but if you don't like our service, tell us". The guy was talking over me and said "you are banned, idiot".
So now I talk to others, and am discovering that Robinson's has got a bad reputation all around. I shall be writing to Robinson's with a summary of various peoples' feedback.

Robinsons think they are being clever…

Robinsons think they are being clever by selling their own beers, even own “Guinness”, and own wines. The latter being particularly disgusting. They think it makes them more money - but by driving people away and losing volume, they are just kidding themselves

Miserable staff

We went to the Broadoak Hotel this evening for a few drinks. The staff were miserable, unwelcoming and downright miserable. They clearly are in the wrong job with ZERO customer service skills.

Terrible pub

On one of the warmest weekends. The Cheshire Cheese in Longnor has been closed . Leaving locals and holiday makers. With no option but to go else where. And giving Robinson's pubs a bad reputation. Many of the would be customers will probably not return.

Friendly Staff

After walking out of the Berkeley Hotel in Beaumaris due to rude and ignorant staff, we found the George and Dragon Hotel down a side street

We only visited for a tea and coffee after a long drive, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, we revisited a couple of days later for another drink and again didn't disappoint. Would be good to try a meal next time we visit

Airport Pub in Manchester

Airport Pub in Manchester.

There is very heavy parking fines in place. When i attended there was roadworks on the other side of the road and I missed the parking sign. I had a great lunch but the experience was taken away with a very very hefty fine. Not happy.

Really poor customer service when you…

Really poor customer service when you cannot get a breakfast at one minute past 11. Service ends at 11 even though you have been in there a couple of minutes looking for a menu( all dirty) and trying to order a drink while staff sat front of house eating full English breakfast but cannot be bothered to serve customers . Went there with my daughter who is used to better service as eats out in Mayfair Michelin starred restaurants, but we went into Conwy town and had fabulous breakfast of scrambled eggs and avocado which was delicious and service was great . Nice views at Mullberry but that’s it.

The Heron Pub Kendal

Very welcoming local pub. Called in this place as our daughter and her young family are moving to the local area and was pleased to find a great social atmosphere with many young families and ( as it happens ) a lot of fun with an Elvis impersonator singing some classic songs in the corner of the room. Great atmosphere, great ales and a real local pub feel to the place. Looking forward to calling in every-time we pay our daughter a visit
