Fraud Fraud Fraud

Placed an order for $92.42 on 7-28-2024. The order was declined but they still took the money off my visa gift card.
It is today 7-8-2024 and I am still fighting to get my money back ..one excuse after another. First it was 3 to 5 days....then weekends do not count ..then holidays do not count....promised money would be returned by 7-8-2024. Today the excuse is no record of the order.....Are You Kidding Me!!!! This is the most fraudulent company I have ever dealt with
Be very careful doing an order with this company... Take your money but refuse the order.

Color Totally Off

I ordered a vibrant jade seersucker blouse. When I received it it was a light pastel colored blouse. Not even close to what it was supposed to be.

Cheap clothing

The clothing is cheaply made. I wear a large in normal clothing. The clothes shrink and don’t last more than a few washings. For the high prices and shipping costs. You are better shopping on Amazon

I've been a faithful and frequent…

I've been a faithful and frequent customer for around thirty years. At the end of summer in 2023 l stopped receiving catalog mailings. It had not been long since my last order. I needed some items and didn't want to search on line. I made four phone calls, two to Customer Service, one to a supervisor and one to a specialist. On older catalogs and on line l found three addresses for the company. I sent physical letters to each location. Two were returned to me as undeliverable. I emailed twice. During and after each of these attempts I was promised to be put back on the mailing list and would receive a catalog within two weeks. I was given lots of excuses and apologies. This fiasco has now been going on for nine months. It's very apparent that Roamans no longer wants my business and my money! That's fine because they will never get another cent from me.

Roamans is crooked & dishonest

Shame on me for not researching this company before placing order today. Had I seen all of the reviews I wouldn't have wasted my time. Charged for shipping when it was to be free and a pair of shoes that was to be $18 got charged for $60. They won't cancel it so I have to wait for it to arrive and then return it. How do they get away with this bad behavior 😕

ROAMANS is the worst company returned…

ROAMANS is the worst company returned two items they say was never returned the amount is $111.65 Every time I have called about the situation they end up saying I’m calling community bank who issues ROAMANS card! I need to call ROAMANS customer service!Truly bad business! Don’t buy from this company

lied to several times

I returned a dress in the amount of $129 and was told several times they issued the credit back to my paypal however I have never received that credit. Also I ordered 3 capris and never received them. This time I was told it was shipped to an address that is not mine and I must have given the wrong address but I always use autofill so I know the address was right. No refund

BEWARE BUYERS! Refused to refund for item never received

I never received my leggings I ordered in December 2023. My account said "on the way." After almost four months, I called customer service. They said it was shipped out on Jan 28, and it was past the 60-day deadline, so they couldn't make any adjustments. How could I have known to call them before the 60-day deadline since I was still waiting for the item to arrive, and the account was showing it was still on the way? This is so unfair and poor customer service.

Don't bother with this company

Don't bother with this company. The customer service is horrible. I made a return/exchange request for two blouses I purchased. They received the return but did not process the exchange for the same two items in a smaller size. I called customer service and was told they would not refund the 10.99 since they had already processed the credit earlier. I attached the exchange to the blouses I returned. They dropped the ball by not processing the exchange so now I am out an addional 10.99. I told them to forget the exchange. I will never purchase from this company again!

I paid for 1 to 2 day shipping $45…

I paid for 1 to 2 day shipping $45 because I was trying to get my clothes before I left on a trip. When i saw that they hadn't shipped I contacted Roaman's via the chat app. The representative said it was 1 to 2 days for shipping and not from when you ordered it. I asked them to cancel it since it hadn't gone out and wouldn't arrive in time. They said it was to late to cancel. Bottom line is I won't order from them again. Save your money and your time.

Roamans lies about expedited shipping

Roamans lies about its expedited and super fast delivery. I paid $28 to get my order in 1-2 business days, and come to find out they haven't even shipped it. Apparently they only count the 1-2 days from when they ship. They could wait a year to ship and still feel like they are keeping their bargain. Grrrr

BEWARE of "FREE" returns

The customer service has gone way downhill!! I ordered a top for about $21 in my regular size. It was much too small. Returned it for a gift card so there would be no shipping charges. Used the gift card for another item that was about $35. The gift card just about covered the tax and shipping on the new order. Item was way too big even though I used their sizing chart. Now to return this is going to cost me another $10.99. No more gift cards for me!! I've ended up paying out about $30 plus the original shipping charges for absolutely nothing! I'm done with this company.

The shoes I ordered were shipped in the…

The shoes I ordered were shipped in the wrong color. Now I will have to pay the shipping charges for the return. I will not be ordering from Roman's again. I also had to call them to get the return address as the invoice I received had no return address or label. The invoice did not have any of the charges for the order. This is not a good business to trade with.

Buyers beware

Buyers beware! I recently measured myself and ordered a pretty soft (pastel) turquoise tunic to wear to a wedding. I received my order and the size was MUCH larger than what their sizing recommended (the neck hung down to my breasts and 2 of me would fit in it.) The color was no way near the color in the catalog. Additionally, it didn't state in the catalog that there were ties in the back of the blouse. This blouse was not at all as advertised! When I went on my computer to process a return I found out that I was being charged a processing fee (even tho they say free returns) plus the taxes I paid were not being fully reimbursed. The only reason I give this a 1 star rating is because I was able to reach customer service easily and they did say they would refund my processing fee. Final status: I ordered a $41.99 blouse which with shipping and taxes, came to $61.64. I will receive a refund of $45.44 (which would have been $34.45 if the rep hadn't said they would waive the processing fee of $10.99) for a blouse that in no way reflected what I ordered. Would anyone be willing to pay $16.20 for nothing. Needless to say I will no longer be ordering anything from this company! I did advise the rep that the processing fee on returns needs to be noted in the catalog. It is no small expense.

Roamans kept $37 in "fees".

Roaman's kept $37 in "fees". I ordered 1 dress suit for a wedding. It didn't fit properly so I returned it the next day. They refunded all but $37 for shipping fees and partial taxes. I don't know how they think keeping part of the tax is legal, but that's what the customer service rep told me. So it cost me $37 to try on 1 outfit from this company. That's the most I've EVER paid in return fees from an on-line order. I will never order from them again and I am telling everyone I know not to order from them.

Romans cancelled order in error. Refused to fix

Romans cancelled an order going to my sister in a nursing home. They kept saying to order on my account. Not hers. I told them over and over it was my account and that my sister did not have an account. They finally said I would need to reorder. 😱. I said no. Y’all screwed up so y’all reactivate my order. They refused. I told them if they didn’t fix their mistakes that I would not use them or women within again. He didn’t care. Bad bad customer service.

Roaman's and Full Beauty Brands Scam

I've shopped with Roaman's for years. Probably decades. My husband purchased a suede jacket from them for my birthday. The jacket didn't fit and was returned to them and I made sure I followed ALL of their criteria for returns. Instead of crediting our charge account as requested, Roaman's sends me a letter telling me my Roaman's account has been credited, but NOT my original form of payment. This notification was sent by their umbrella company Full Beauty Brands, which I am finding increasingly problematic. My husband called them to have them credit the charge account. We were already out around $30 for shipping charges, but Roaman's told him they would charge a $10 restocking fee. They are NOT upfront about these policies at the point of purchase and are no longer consumer friendly. This all started when they joined this umbrella company called Full Beauty Brands. Fortunately, there are reputable plus size women's clothing brands that provide excellent customer service, including equitable returns. I understand that as a consumer I may have to absorb the costs of shipping when I return something, however a restocking fee is ridiculous, especially when that policy is not stated up front at the point of purchase. I'm done with Roaman's and Full Beauty Brands.

Twice bitten....

This is my second bad experience with Roaman's (aka Woman within, comfort choice, Catherine's). On this occasion, l ordered 2 dresses to wear for a wedding not knowing if l would like both or if they would fit. One fit and l loved it. The other didn't and l wanted to return it. l paid $10 for shipping to get them. Their policy is you can return it minus the shipping back cost or return it for the full amount in credit.... with their misnomer "Happy Returns." l returned it for credit and never received the credit. l contacted PayPal and even though l had proof of return l never got my money back. Never again will l deal with this horrible company.
