Excellent service provided

Excellent service provided. I emailed mentioning I needed AIO urgently and if possible could they make asap, I also mentioned that I didn’t expect the splash jacket would arrive in time, both came in less than 3 1/2 weeks….many thanks!!

Zero customer service help.

Ordered a splash jacket in February. The item was shipped within four weeks and arrived into Irish postal system, but due to an import shipping code issue on RivalKits part, it was sent back to them. Which then became a massive nightmare of the item being sent back and forth three times without the code ever being fixed. Then in April, the item was sent back to sender again, and seemingly has just disappeared completely, nothing on any postal tracking system has info on it. Have contacted the "customer service" email, repeatedly sending them the same email 3-4 times a week to just get no response at all from them, besides one brief email saying they would look into it...that was a month ago. The item was over a 100 euro, and it's been lost with no help from customer service nor any guidance on how to find it or get a refund or anything. This is clearly a pretty common experience with orders from RivalKit, and it's such a shame that the monopoly on purchasing rowing gear in the EU is stuck with it.

Customer service do not reply

During the Design process i got helped wonderful, nice designs and quick responses and changes.

After Ordering my package was sent back by the shipping company so i contacted them and Rival Kit. I never got a response from Rival kit back even after 4 weeks of trying to contact them. I sent the design department a mail and they answered within a day and told me they send it to customer service. Still no reply, aftyer another mail to the design department, again i got answered the same they and told me that customer service would contact me the same day. Still haven't got a reply.

It feels helpless to not get answered or any form of contact (I also sent a DM which they recommended on their site). It has been 2 months since i ordered.

Fast delivery and great quality

I ordered a club one piece from Rival and I had left it quite late to order so I was worried I wouldn’t get it in time for my race, but the delivery was incredibly fast and it arrived within loads of time.

I’m also very happy with the kit itself, it’s comfortable and good quality. Will definitely be buying from here again.

Poor communication and no service!

I am waiting for a Rival Kit order to arrive, 4-6 weeks was the time frame and we are now in our 6th week. Normally wouldn’t concern me but after several emails no-one has responded. Concerned company have taken my money and I am yet to receive the goods ordered.

1/5/25: Two emails sent, first on Sunday 27/4/25 which included the attached confirmation email from Rival Kit and a second email sent Tuesday 29/4/25 requesting a response. Order number on the above email is #AUS1485R, my concern is that as there is no Rival Kit contact phone number a customer feels quite helpless.

Horror show

A group of us had ordered kit for a rugby tour. Those who set up the tour were in constant contact with you making sure that they were going to come before tour started. You said that it would be dispatched and delivered within 4-6 weeks. I ordered my kit over 8 weeks ago and still not heard anything about it. I have tried to contact you multiple times and I have heard nothing back. If you are thinking about using this company don't. There was a group of around 30 of us on the tour and 15-20 of us have had this problem, which shows that this is not a one off problem and happens to a lot of their customers.

Absolute Scam

A group of us contacted rival kit to order some tops for a rugby tour. We expressed the need to have them by a certain date and they told us that the kit would be dispatched within 4-6 weeks, so it would arrive in time. I ordered my kit over 8 weeks ago, with express delivery, and it has still not arrived. I have made multiple attempts to contact the company with no response. I have now made complaints to higher authorities due to this. If you are thinking of using rival kit do not bother. Around 20 others in my group have experienced the same thing so this is clearly not a one off experience.

The product is horrible poor product

The product is horrible. Short sleeve rowing top is made with very heavyweight old fashioned material. The sizing is also way off too.
In response to the sellers response below - the sizing is one thing, the horrid material is the larger problem.

They more than made up for the initial miss-step

Back in December 2024 I reviewed RivalKit on this website. I gave them a terrible review for their lack of response to my inquiries about a (very) late order.
However, since then I was contacted by the company to apologize for their silence and slowness. They refunded my payment, and reordered the item free of charge. It is true that it took until now (April 2025) for the item to finally arrive, but it is now in my hot little hands!
So, kudos to Sophie, who apparently made this happen. I don't know what the problem was, but they (she) fixed it with grace and goodwill. I will certainly order from them again if/when I see something I like, and I strongly recommend them. Just be patient, and maybe keep emailing them! I would give them 5 stars, but ... 8 months?

Do not use this company

Do not use this company! I ordered an item as a sample and the same day emailed to cancel the order as I realised it was incorrect. I didn’t it receive a response to my many emails for 3 weeks. Very poor customer service. Apparently they start printing custom vests 10 minutes after they are ordered. This is completely not true. It is a sc. very unhappy and waste of money. Still not received item even though they said it would soon be shipped.

I have contacted via insta DM

I have contacted via insta DM - no response. No confirmation email just a order number from a screen shot when order placed. I have tried calling UK number on the website - phone disconnected and no longer in service. I have called the USA number and a Scottish man answered. I asked for a Ul number - he said there is no Uk number on the website Money taken- when I stated there was but out of service - he hung up. I have sent an email today to the address listed here on Trustpilot. Rivalkit needs to get out in front of this with an announcement or customers are going to assume the worst.

Phone disconnected and no one responding to emails - gone out of business?

I don't know what's going on with Rival Kit but they have not responded to any of my emails regarding my orders and their phone is disconnected. It's been over 2 months since I placed an order and I've emailed them to get an update several times over the past three weeks and no one responds. Their website says they ship within 4 weeks. I think they've gone out of business or something but are still taking payments for orders. I've also tried contacting through social media and nothing. I've had to cancel payment with my bank.

Not ideal but we got there in the end

*****PLEASE READ TO THE END *****

This was an extremely frustrating experience but a resolution was found! I ordered kit for my daughter which turned out to be ill fitting and too big. I contacted Rival Kit and explained we weren't happy with the item. They tried to push us down the exchange route but as I pointed out they didn't have a smaller size than XS they reluctantly accepted a return. **Edit** It turns out they actually do make an XXS although it wasn't listed on their website as an option.

I sent the item the next day tracked delivery with Royal Mail. The garment was received by them on 24th January and as of today 18th February we have not been refunded.

I had a couple of weeks of attempting to reach out to Rival Kit via their email and Instagram account to no avail. This is when the frustration set in as we had no response and were unsure if they were ever going to refund our money.

******* UPDATE ******
I managed to find a mobile number by pure good luck online for Rival Kit and got a prompt reply from someone about the return via WhatsApp. I have been promised a refund and they have also offered to send out a different size for my daughter to try. This will be paid for by us if it fits or returned if it doesn't. They are in the process of moving warehouse seemingly hence the mix up. If they are true to their word and deliver all that is promised I will return to this review and change my opinion. It has been a frustrating issue to deal with but I finally feel as if we may be getting somewhere.

The refund was processed and gratefully received. They did manage to get the XXS AIO manufactured and to us just in time for my daughter's training camp in Spain. It was right down to the wire but they made the effort to make amends and I am very grateful for that. I contacted Rival Kit to pay for the AIO and was told it was to be considered as a gift as they had not handled the order very well. I think that is a nice gesture which they should be commended for.

In conclusion, was this an ideal shopping experience..... no definitely not! However, I do believe they are a fledgling company that have expanded rapidly and have not managed their growth properly. They have the potential to be a great company but need to be more realistic about their growth and manage their customer interactions more professionally. I wish Rival Kit well going forward and hope they get their act together in the future.

Very disappointing service

Very disappointing service. Ordered kit 29th November 2024. Spent 200euro and haven't received anything yet in 10 weeks. Had some correspondence with Callum in mid January via Instagram messenger but nothing in the last 2 weeks. Their phone number is not working and the tracking on their website has been taken down. Still waiting delivery or refund. FEB 3RD.

Appalling service

Appalling service. Ordered kit 29th November. Spent £239 and only 2 pieces delivered so far. Phone number not working. Sophie who was responding to my emails is no longer responding and it 'open to work' on Linked In. DMs via Instagram also going unanswered.

Don't buy from Rival Kit if you want good customer service or want your stuff within their stated 21 days.

Where is my order???

I placed an order at the start of December for a rowing hoodie for my son. Received an email confirming the order immediately, and payment was taken. No sign of my order as yet, no further emails (I have sent several chasing and received no response), and the phone number on their website seems to be unavailable. Hugely frustrating.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I placed an order with what I thought was an Australian company (Rival Kit au) in mid Nov '24 after seeing it advertised as a sponsor of Head of the Yarra.
Early Dec, I had not heard anything re dispatch so I emailed them.
No reply.
I assumed my money was gone.
I finally received a reply to my email on 14 Jan (nearly 6 weeks later) noting that my delivery had been dispatched (from UK) but one of the items had not been produced yet.
I received my other 2 items today (2 months later), but one was the incorrect product. I have asked for a refund,but am not holding my breath in view of the mostly 1 star ratings this company has received.
There is only a US 800 number listed for this company, so they are not easy to communicate with.
I would avoid doing business with this company at all costs.

Updated review after order arrived.

Updating this review as I've now got my order. It same within the 4-6 weeks as stated but I did have some trouble getting hold of them to check everything was okay after reading reviews below. AIO I ordered is fantastic and my son is really pleased with it. Suggest that Rival could make their lives a lot easier by communicating better and answering emails more swiftly to put customers minds at ease.
Now that our order has arrived - and it wasn't late - hard not to give a 4* review but fear for the business if they continue to get the reviews as below. And fix the phone number...nothing says we're not going to fulfil your order like an 'no longer available' phone number!
