It's a fake website run by Gadget Discovery Club to justify their '£100' value boxes. Search 'Gadget Discovery Club MrWazzo' on youtube to see details.

The company is now called 'Rise Traveler'

Essentially fraudsters

There website is now gone, but their products are still sold from different places. Both O2 and Vodafone have had costumer offers to buy this crap at "discounted" prices. Nothing they offer is anywhere close to even the lowish prices from these "offers".

If you're lucky enough to read this review and the others before you make such a purchase, buyer beware. That isn't a bargain, it's bust, or barely worth half the price.

I got suckered into a subscription, with the mini Bluetooth speaker okayish if less than a tenner, the fitness tracker which doesn't have any supported apps, and the solar charger, that doesn't charge, was falling to bits almost straight away, and certainly isn't waterproof, which was why I chose to even stick with the subscription past the first month.

All of it is crap, and companies offering these scams as loyalty programmes are themselves disloyal to their loyal customers. Avoid!

Unethical and irresponsible company

The advertising for the RISE miniboom speaker is irresponsible in the extreme. "Your neighbours won't be thanking you any time soon..." Noisy neighbours are not a joke. Noise pollution in crowed urban areas makes life a misery for millions. I leads to break-downs in communities, mental illness, violence and even suicide. If you can read that advert and still think this is a product you want to own, then you should take a good hard look in your soul. It won't be pretty. Don't support a company like RISE that think this is acceptable. Look after your neighbours, keep your music at a reasonable volume and use headphones when you can. Don't be the bad guy/girl. Don't buy this product. Thank you.

Mini boom speaker for themselves and the charger is jus electric

I have two rise mini boom speakers for when I am out on the open road. I am a broadcast journalist and record a wide variety of material for broadcast and need to evaluate my recordings. They are brilliant, loud full of sound and link together with the press of a button. Two tones tell you when they are on an when they are linked via bluetooth. Cannot speak more highly of them and they are small enough to carry in a bag or even a pocket. As for the solar charger that is also top quality and easy to use. Combined with the two speakers whose charge lasts up to four hours I am able to listen to my recordings for hours on end. They are highly recommended. So get moving and put your order in now, you will not be disappointed.

Rise Motion 2 watch

I had brought a Rise Motion 2 watch and after a few days it failed to charge. I contacted Rise support where I spoke to a person named Imma, she was very helpful and friendly throughout with great customer service skills. Would definitely give her a pay rise if I was her boss.

Unreliable and dubious messages

I have been waiting for three solar chargers (almost £100 worth) for a month and a half. They haven't still arrived and I asked for a refund that they didn't even consider. They reply with excuses and the items are always on the way... The never ending story, just terrible, unreliable company.

I purchased two watches one of which is faulty and I have to pay to send a faulty watch back, when it's not my fault! The least they could do is pay for the faulty returns. I was going to ask for a replacement but in this case i will ask for a refund.
