I cancelled months ago — they keep charging me double the amount and can't reach them

I cancelled my Reword.co subscription back in August, but the cancellation didn’t go through. Since then, they’ve been charging me twice every month — a total of $120 USD per month. I’ve tried multiple times to contact their support, but their email doesn’t work and there’s no other reliable way to reach them.

It’s impossible to stop the payments or get any help, and at this point it feels like a scam. I’ve reported the charges to Wise and am warning others to be careful before signing up — their billing and cancellation process seem completely untrustworthy.

Terrible customer service

I canceled my subscription with Reword.com months ago, erased my payment methods, and haven’t touched the app since the free trial. Despite that, they still kept charging me. Apparently they made no way of cancelling subscriptions. Erasing payment methods are not enough
What’s worse is they don’t even send monthly billing emails, so you don’t notice charges unless you check your bank statements closely. That’s super shady and feels like they rely on people not paying attention. And their free trial is a way to stealing your bank information

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. They give you no way to cancel your subscription. I have been trying to get ahold of support for months and have not gotten a single response.

No way to cancel subscription

I was hopeful that the service would do what it said it could do. I tried it once long ago. It didn't work but I forgave it because I was using Chinese. Recently, I gave it another try since it now lists Chinese as one of the supported language, but it still did not work.

I tried to cancel my trial. But there is no way to cancel on its website. I emailed them a few days before trial ended, but I got no response. And they went ahead and billed me.

Now I am going through the hassle of disputing the charge with Link and my bank. Avoid this company at all costs.

There is no cancellation option available on their website. Despite sending multiple emails to their support address and other contacts I found, I have received no response and my account has not been cancelled. Their customer service is extremely poor. They continue to deduct $60 every month for a service I am not using, and this has been happening for the past 3–4 months. Very disappointing experience.

This company will sign you up for a…

This company will sign you up for a free subscription under the premise that you don't have to enter in any credit card information. This is super misleading because they actually get their payment information from your Google account. That means that you are agreeing to pay them a monthly subscription fee of $60 a month even though you might be thinking that you won't be charged because you have not entered in payment information. It is super scammy. Also the service itself is not that great. You can get way better text and services from chatgpt for $20 per month.

Highly do not recommend.

LOOK ELSEWHERE - complete lack of empathy from a less-than-stellar AI service

I started a free trial nearly a year ago to help with a specific work assignment and evaluate whether it would be a good tool to use regularly. Unfortunately, it was not particularly helpful for my scenario, and didn't leave a good impression. I completely forgot about Reword, and assumed I wouldn't be charged because my free trial had ended.

Fast forward to today, when I finally realized I was being charged $50+ monthly ever since my free trial ended 10 months ago, amounting to more than $400 of charges. I noticed the most recent charge on a bank statement, and couldn't remember what 'Reword' was. I looked in my email, and received ZERO notifications about billing, upcoming charges, lack of use, etc.

I cancelled my account and immediately reached out to their support email explaining the situation and the financial hardship this has caused. I explained how I have not logged in or utilized the platform in any way over the past 10 months, and request a refund for that duration. I also indicated that billing notifications should be defaulted, after I realized it was a setting that you have to toggle "on".

A Reword representative named Charles Kelly responded by processing a refund for the most recent month. I followed up explaining that while I appreciated the quick attention to the matter, it does not adequately address the issue. He responded clarifying the 14-day refund window policy and claiming that a return cannot be processed outside of that time.

Getting refunded 10% of the total charges I've incurred for a service I have not used in any way (which can be verified by my login activity) is cruel. Not to mention that the reason I did not use it is because the quality of their product is forgettable.

There are myriad more affordable AI options out there, and I guarantee they place greater priority on customer satisfaction (as Reword seemingly doesn't prioritize it at all). Look elsewhere!

Terrible customer service/Don't honour their refund policy

I was unknowingly charged after the free trial period, and despite sending a refund request within their stated 14-day window, they're pretending they never received my request and are refusing to reimburse me. Absolutely terrible customer service.

Aside from essentially stealing my money, their technology is subpar at best. I spent quite a while trying to train it on my brand voice and it still pumped out generic content that did not emulate the brand voice at all.

There are better AI models out there and WAY better customer service. Don't get fooled by their "free trial".
