Dealing w/ RevRides was a Nightmare!!
Dealing with Rev Rides was an absolute nightmare. On December 2nd, I ordered a gray 18” e-bike as a Christmas gift for my 8 y/o. It still had not shipped on 12/10, so I emailed them (it’s not possible to contact them via phone, which I find very concerning). They responded and said it would be shipped directly by Voltaic, not from them (why do they not disclose that they aren’t actually the ones supplying their bikes?!) but that they would check on my order. It was finally shipped 12/11, but didn’t get delivered until 12/23 (3 weeks after ordering!) I went to put it together the following day, Christmas Eve, and guess what? They sent me the wrong bike, a 16” instead of the 18” I ordered. So now my kid doesn’t have a bike for Christmas, talk about heartbroken! I emailed customer service to inform them; they give me the run-around for 2 weeks, saying they’re looking into the mistake. They finally provide me with return label on 1/8, but inform me that they don’t have the gray bike in stock now so I just have to be refunded. They received my return on 1/15, and AJ called me, saying that they now have the red 18” in stock and can ship it to me this week, which I agree to; I had to jump through some refund & reorder hoops, but my order for the red 18” was confirmed on 1/16. They never shipped it. The following week, I contacted them several times, they kept saying it would be shipped soon. On 1/24, I noticed my order details on the Shop app had changed from a red 18” back to a gray one, which I was fine with. It still had not shipped on 1/27, so I messaged their facebook page and asked them to call me; Marcus called and informed me that the red one was out of stock, but confirmed that they had the gray one and it would be shipping out today. It never shipped. I messaged him again on 1/28, Marcus said the warehouse got busy due to a last minute delivery, but would call them to see what he could do. A few hours later, AJ called and said the warehouse had shipped all the remaining 18” bikes out to other customers and wouldn’t have any more in stock for possibly a couple months. So after nearly 2 months of trying to get a bike, I was back at square one. Needless to say, I was furious. Rev Rides is an absolute joke with terrible customer service. I found another supplier in Illinois who had one shipped within 24 hours. I highly recommend you avoid the frustration of ordering from Rev Rides!
