Avoid like the Plague

Stayed in Nemea Apartment Hotel Elypseo, Strasbourg. The room they gave us was absolutely filthy. There were used tissues and empty plastic bottles under the bed, filthy, stained and torn furniture, an unusable freezer that was completely full with ice, broken light fitting with exposed live wires, no A/C. The manageress had disappeared off work early and did not return my communications. The apartment in no way resembled their glossy literature and they have made every attempt to hide my genuine feedback and photo evidence.

WORST experience ever

We stayed at Tours.
Sadly, the worst hotel I’ve ever been. We arrived later than what was specified on the check-out and we had to pay 150 euros (that are refunded afterwords) when there was NO SPECIFICATION FOR IT ON ANY DOCUMENT THEY GAVE US.
When we arrived, we notice that the floor was very dirty, the moquette was full of stains and it seemed that they had only made their bed and leave the rest as it was. The following day, we kindly ask for a toaster (we didn’t have it in our room although the booking description mentions the room has one) and we told them about the floor being dirty. They told us they would clean it as soon as possible.
Turns out, there was something else that haven’t been cleaned in ages. The room was infested with BEDBUGS. After our stay, I had to go to the hospital because the bites got swollen and I couldn’t even move one of my arms. The doctor told us there were bedbugs bites and that we had to change hotels immediately. I sent an e-mail through Booking telling the hotel about the problem and THEY DIDN’T EVEN ANSWER. I guess that explains it all. The whole vacation was ruined as even our luggages were infested as well by bedbugs. No one took responsibility and sadly, we didn’t receive any answer or compensation for it. I don’t recommend this hotel AT ALL.

Parking reservation

I booked an apartment in Hamburg, for 3 nights, via booking.com, and requested a parking space reservation. This information has not been transmitted to Nemea, so no parking available, and for the following days, it is impossible to reserve a place for a period shorter than the stay. It's a shame, because otherwise, the reservation system of Nemea works perfectly, and the questions asked by WhatsApp, receive quick answers. So be careful, even if you have reserved parking on Booking, you must do it again on the Nemea platform.
