Easy to navigate site and prices were…

Easy to navigate site and prices were reasonable for my car rental. My only negative would be the lack of advice and instructions for when the vehicle is picked up at destination. I was confused with the level of insurance needed and got ripped off by Dollar car rental in USA

I had a very stressful experience with…

I had a very stressful experience with ReservAway. Three days before my trip, my confirmed rental was suddenly canceled. When I contacted Dollar, they claimed I had canceled it myself—which was false. It took hours of back-and-forth and a supervisor's intervention to honor my original price.
​1. Misleading 'Free' Cancellation: ReservAway markets 'Free Cancellation,' but they actually retain 3% of your money. You cannot legally or ethically call a service 'Free' if you are pocketing a percentage of the refund. It is a hidden fee, plain and simple. Even they charge you more for your rental get free cancellation.
​2. Support Failures: Their '24/7' chat is incredibly slow. When you are at a rental desk or dealing with a canceled booking, waiting hours for a response is unacceptable. I had to solve the problem myself because their agents were nowhere to be found. When is your turn to communicate with the agent sometimes it's half an hour to answer you or more.
​Final Word: The car was fine, but the system is buggy, the support is slow, and the 'Free Cancellation' is a deceptive marketing tactic. The support Agents waste of time. and there's no phone number to call them. And they don't call you back either. Location is UK

Not the best service

Not the best service, waited 40mins in queue at terminal counter desk to be seen and then another 15-20mins to do paperwork at the terminal.
Went over to car pick office to collect car, no on at counter there for 10mins had no idea what was happening- a guys turns up at deck says hold on 1 mins which becomes 12 mins and then another guys comes along and say to the 1st guy to give me keys for the car and get me gone and that he can continue his paperwork he was doing after when no customers waiting!
Was very disorganised to say the least.
But the price I paid for the car was well worth it- car was dirty on collection through Alamo.

We understand that security deposits can feel high or unexpected. Rental companies place a deposit as a hold on your card to cover any potential damage, fuel, or extra charges etc nduring the rental period it’s not normally an extra fee kept by us or the supplier.

For many suppliers, using a credit card makes the process easier and faster to release, but some also accept other cards depending on the location and package chosen. If you ever have questions about payment requirements or deposit amounts, we encourage you to check all information at booking or reach out to us before pickup so you’re fully prepared.

This was a last minute (less than 48…

This was a last minute (less than 48 hours) reservation as my original reservation was cancelled due to unavailability of the vehicle I had reserved. Dollar would not honor this reservation (said they didn’t have any cars), so I cancelled it since it was only a partial payment and I didn’t want to get charged even more. I never got my prepaid amount back.

The biggest scam of my life!!!!

The biggest scam of my life!!!!
On the website we’ve paid 600$ for a car, setting our nationality on ITALIAN. After the payment the confirmation mail said we had 0$ to pay on arrival. But once got there, they charged on us 1000$ more! So I talked to the customer service and got a “DEAL” and paid JUST 500€ to get the car we had already paid. You’re a scam guys and you know it. when I asked for the refund because we hadn’t had those money they’ve said they will never give us a refund.

Not ideal experience…

What I booked online didn’t come through to the operating company which meant I had to pay fees. Rental cost me more than was shown during the booking process.

NEVER USE RESERVAWAY

My flight was delayed. The phone number given to me on the booking was incorrect so I was unable to call the car hire firm. When i arrived there were zero instructions from reservaway in the email about where to collect the car or even WHO?

No where did it mention the local provider. I had to ask around and try and find the local dealer.

Then when I finally found them they were packing up and going home. Had I been 60 seconds later they would have gone

Finally I reserved a Volvo and was given a Hyundai and told “it’s the same class”

The local staff were very friendly and helpful. Shame about reservaway

Is legit and will save you money

Was not sure at first when making the purchase/reservation, but after going to the counter at Dollar and paying the difference, it's for real. Thanks for saving us almost half of the cost of all the other rental sites.

It was great experience

It was great experience

When I got the car was a different car and also has no charger for i phone, the reason I give you great was because everything was great, great price, easy ect.

The rental company dollar did change the car that I order, I was very unhappy because I was coming from Europe and my phone was not charged, i thought 100% each car has a phone that you connect your cable? Not only the car didn’t have it but also the guy said stop and purchase at the gas station?

Again I have everything i need it, the car Kia something didn’t have the area to plug the cable, it’s very sad, I couldn’t get directions, also was no service in the car so the car can help me with directions, the guy said has to be with your phone and Bluetooth.

I will not rent ever again from the dollar rental car, when I came to Miami I use for the first time a company sixth, the experience the car was 1000% great time, the car was amazing the service was awesome, I don’t understand why the dollar company did this, i truly believe is the people that they hire, they seems they didn’t care, not willing to help, i should go and get a different car but after 13 hours on the plane you can’t wait to go home.
