reserved a car for 780 Euros. At the arrival at the agency the car does not fit the criterias on site. Agency asks 100 euros more to get the car that can get 2 suitecases. The BIG surprise: 300 Euros more to get a mandatory insurance: you cannot join no one by chat or phone - I couldnt cancel my reservation. First time and last time EVER!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!! +400 Euros than the booking online!!

Easy to use and very good prices
Easy to use, best prices. Opportunity to improve, yesterday I cade a booking and forgot to include that I wanted to return the car in other location, it was not possible to change the reservation, I had to cancel it and remake it.

Absolutely terrible experience!!!
Absolutely terrible experience. As soon as my payment went through, I never received a booking confirmation email. I eventually managed to create an account, but there were no bookings showing under "My Bookings." After a short while, my account seemed to disappear completely, and I couldn't log in anymore.
I requested a full refund but have had no response whatsoever. I've now had to open an official dispute through PayPal because I have no confidence in this company.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious before booking through Rentcars.com. I certainly won't be using them again.

Customer service support is useless
I had issues with the partner company Klasswagen due to predatory practices to sell their own insurance. I complained with RentCars and they were not open to resolve it, they gave reason to the partner company even we presented all the proof we have been lied to. I dont even know how RentCars still partners with a company that boycots their own service (Klasswagen clearly told us that the insurance offered by RentCars doesn't work to put more pressure for us to buy their additional insurance). It was my first time using RentCars and I will never use it again and I definetely do not recommend it to anyone who expects them to honour the information in their website at the time of booking or act as a true intermediate who cares about their customers.

Booked a car via Rentalcars. Price was good and easy to book on line. Received email to confirm. Now wanted to see if I could upgrade my vehicle. Clicked on the linkon my email for changing or amendng bookings and logged into my Rental card account. Clicked on my bookings to find I have no bookings. Clicked on 'contact us' only to find it took me to the search page for car to hire. Kept going round in circles and AI assistant was useless. Then received a 2nd email regarding my protection cover which I already purchased and when I logged in it showed two quotes for me to click through and purchase and one that was confirmed. Very, very confusing! So I hope I am covered and have a car but it's a pity I couldn't amend.

So many things went wrong
So many things went wrong!
1. Arrived at the airport and the shuttle never arrived
2. Arrived at the rental place and booking was cancelled
3. Had to make a new booking, went back to the airport, again shuttle never arrived
5. All of this cost me out of pocket to Uber around
6. Car had a brake failure which then caused us a 4 hour wait on our honeymoon
7. I have waited for over a week for a refund for the first booking and keep on getting the run around from RentCars which is unacceptable.
I keep on being told to re-provide the information I've already provided which is just turning into a run-around game.

problems with password, birthdate
No password longer than 8 characters and most important the birthdate is shown as invalid and I had to type 01/01/2000 as birthdate to go on for the booking.
We plan to visit also northwest Spain - this option is not included in the homepage
