I booked from Rentals car and PAID
I was unable to receive my car at Ankara airport. This is due to the Master card not working in Turkey. I have 5000€ limit and never used the card anywhere else. So it was not because of the limit. I called Master card in front of the rental company and prove that card had no issues.
I had debit cards but the company was not accepting it. I offered that deposit to be withdraw from debit card and return to it later, they said no. To cash payments either.
They did not allow me to get the car. so I did not get the car.
Then immediately I communicate with rentals car. In Chat boot i did explain all to that person. He did some documents checks and told me that with in 5-7 days i will be fully refunded.
Now they are saying otherwise.

DO NOT USE this service

DO NOT USE this service. We booked a full insured car using this service when we arrived at airport the rental car company scam us. They started trying to sell us a different car much more expensive than the one we have booked on rentalscar.com and we refused. Then they said that our insurance was not valid and offered another one very expensive and we refused to pay that as we had paid already. When we contacted rentalscar.com to refund us reporting what happened they simply refused to refund us because we had agreed the terms and conditions. This SERVICE DOES NOT PROTECT THEIR CLIENTS they protect the scammers which stole our money.

Avoid at any costs

Avoid at any costs. Price not worse the risk
Poor/ no customer services.
Do not respect T&Cs / getting reimbursement is too cumbersome (it means spending 5h on the phone and keep chasing.. to still not getting it..)

Lost $160 as soon as booked.
No service, no contact.
The great part of the business is collecting as much of your money as they can. Anything after that is non-existent.

Very bad experience with Rentals cars …

Very bad experience with Rentalcar and Geneva airport Unirent and Europcars !We had booked 4 month in advance car!Car class we booked compact middle class and paid for child booster extra!arrive to airport we get Audi A1 small car team member said you only 3 persons its will be ok Audi a1!!!!!After we return car we get additional charges £93 pounds ?We contact Rentalcar Uk and team member explain me extra charges was for winter tyres and child seat i have already paid!but winter tyres its top !!!AVOID AVOID THIS COMPANY TOO MANY PROBLEMS !!!!

Very bad company to do business with

Very bad company to do business with. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

I booked a car rental only to learn in the confirmation email that there are a whole whack of very expensive extra charges that were not disclosed at all during the booking process.

I cancelled the booking immediately (so within about 30 minutes) only to find they shaft you with a $75 cancellation fee.

I called their customer service and was told "tough luck, those are the terms and conditions". I'm disputing the charge with my credit card company and will absolutely refuse to pay it.

The whole premise of the company is to suck you in with a cheap price and then shaft you with extra charges after the deal is done.

Stay AWAY from RentalCars.com and stick with the reputable brands like expedia

non-existent customer service plus don't use the app

Rentalcars.com has probably THE worst customer service. Due to an error in their app I happened to have a double booking. Not only was it not possible to delete one, their didn't provide ANY support. The "online chart" is surprisingly offline whenver you have a look at it, no phone number available that is picked up, and no w3 weeks have gone and I haven't gotten the money back they charged on my card (wrongly). I cannot recommend to anyone to use this "service".

Good experience

I rent a ford mustang at Miami Airport, good choice ! many color, many options i can choose the car i like. Everything was great , no surprise at all.
I would sincerely recommand rentalscar to anyone looking for no surprise in a rental experience.

under the direction and help from one of their employee I booked and paid for what I beveled was a vehicle big enough for 3 person and 6 luggage; not even close I got a VW Polo. At Rome rental place I asked for upgrade; not available. Called the company their answer was; sorry about your lock. Not a very good company to deal with.
Like they said one dissatisfied customer tells his story to 10 people and they tell that to 10 people and so on
