A guarantee you can rely on
I used Renlon for tanking a small extension back in 2017.
They were selected by my builder. At the time the job was completed on time and on budget and I was not told of any issues. They provided a 10year guarantee for the works, these guarantees are hard to enforce and a burden for the company.
Unfortunately for relon there was likely movement between the brick and concrete due to different rates of expansion. This led to a small leak which took more than one attempt to fix each attempt needed more than a year to fully assess. In total I believe they came out three times, whilst there was the odd issue regarding scheduling they came out each and every time to repair and restore with for no charge. It has now been resolved (as far as I can tell). It’s incredibly honourable for a company to uphold their promises despite likely losing money on my works. Systems will occasionally go wrong but they have proven excellent operators.
Each person who came to my property was also very polite and hardworking with the attitude of “I’ll get it done”.
Like I said could improve on scheduling and communication at distance but this was minor and entirely forgivable. I’d use them again and recommend their services to others.
