Fabulous Service and Car
The car was ready and drove beautifully. 7500 kms in 75 days and it cost under $1500 in fuel as we had requested a Hybrid. Handled the roads beautifully. Very comfortable and quiet car. Had a little accident, reported it to the local Police and emailed the Insurer and Car Lease company. They were great and prompt with their response. We were not out of pocket at all. Would highly recommend leasing a car again.

The Renault vehicle is fully insured by Renault at no additional cost and no credit card input (taken by hire car companies).
Since 2006, I have leased various Renault cars on 10 separate occasions and driven over 30,000 kilometres in numerous countries in Europe. The wide range of pick up & drop off locations is a real bonus. Only 1 car required a minor fault to be rectified at a Renault dealer, with minimum inconvenience because of the many dealers throughout Europe. Absolutely recomend Renault Eurodrive’s range of vehicles. Geoffrey Hall. Sydney.

Do not enter into a lease with Renault Eurodrive
Do not enter into a lease with Renault Eurodrive or any agent representing them. If something goes wrong you are in for a terrible experience. Whilst you are the legal owner of the vehicle for the lease period, if the vehicle breaks down you are at the mercy of the Renault roadside assistance and repair program, and it is beyond woeful. The new hybrid car I leased suffered total engine failure 4 weeks into a 14 week lease (whilst still in France). The roadside assistance program was appalling right from the start. I had to keep calling them to try and organise a suitable replacement vehicle (20+ calls over 72 hours). Over a two week period they twice left me sitting in a car park, for more than 5 hours each time, because they failed to organise a rental car as promised. They rarely followed up on promises and what I was entitled to under my contract. You got a different person each time you called, and they do not follow through with actions, so each call back you have to start again. They blatantly lied by phone and email. For example - “we have just spoken to the mechanic who is looking at the vehicle now” - when I was literally just leaving the mechanics and it was still in the back lot unreviewed. It would take another two weeks before Renault moved the vehicle to another workshop because it still had not been looked at by a mechanic to determine what was wrong and if it could be repaired. Meanwhile every few days I had to go through the process of trying to increase the rental period for the replacement car, which was difficult given roadside assistance will not call you back. At one stage I arrived at the rental car office after waiting all day in the car park of a campground, with written confirmation the car was now ready to collect, only to be told by the rental agency manager that there was no vehicle (at 3:30pm in the afternoon). So they not only lie to you, they will not hesitate to act unprofessionally with other businesses. Another example, they promised in writing on the Friday that the vehicle rental due back on the Monday, had been extended for another week. I then get a call from the rental car company on Monday asking why I had not returned the car on time because Eurodrive RA had not contacted them to extend the rental (embarrassing/infuriating). After three weeks and having to constantly call Renault Eurodrive RA to find out what was happening, because they will not call you back (“we don’t have time to call you. We’re too busy!”), they eventually offered a replacement vehicle. I wrote complaints via the Australian agent Drive Away and directly via Eurodrive and Renault’s complaint system detailing every failure in their system, for which I have photos and other records to verify every fact, and I never even got an acknowledgement, let alone an apology. It has been over 4 months since the first complaint was filed via my agent (who sent it to senior management at Renault Eurodrive) and 2 months since the final complaint was filed via their website complaint system. Not a word from them. Not even an apology for the appalling experience. This debacle resulted in a huge disruption to my travel plans; left me financially worse off due to delays and the replacement vehicle which had a much more costly fuel/mileage ratio; and it also caused a huge amount of stress. Please do not use Renault Eurodrive. It is all good until something goes wrong, and then they literally could not care less because you are the owner of the vehicle. BUT remember, from a service and replacement vehicle perspective, you literally have no rights or power. You are at their mercy, and they are beyond incompetent and uncaring.

Stay away from this company
Stay away from this company. It's a scam, they take your money but don't deliver the vehicle. They left us stranded in Germany with zero communication. We had to scramble to find another vehicle, but then these guys had the audacity to say that we did not show up to pick up the vehicle and they will not be refunding our money. Matter going to court, again, stay away

Most reliable
I have been leasing a Renault Clio in Europe each year for more than a decade. A breakdown this year has been handled well, but I have nothing but praise for the reservation team in Australia and those involved in France ensuring a smooth delivery and return as well as a quick follow-up of any problems encountered in Europe.
