Scam

Scam. Not honest about the charges. They will ask you to upload your personal photos and info, and then a surprising charge comes in.

Charged $249.99 for services but the payment page does not link to your existing log-in name and there is no way around it. Detailed explanation sent to their help page form and received a canned "use our help" page message returned. Several unhelpful emails sent back with final message being "refund not possible due to terms of service". So some person is responding but not taking action to resolve this known issue. Completely fraudulent. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.

Predatory app that makes multiple accounts so not easy to cancel

When signing up it sends you to multiple confirmation pages so that you log in with different accounts and then you have to search for which one is still charging/active after you have cancelled what you thought was the only one. I thought mine was apple, but then it sent me to the desktop app and logged in with my gmail to confirm the account - same email, different platform. A truly predatory app.

Unusable

Very bad picture generations (as in, you can tell they're AI right away), and when i tried generating their video template the whole app was stuck in this weird supposed "processing queue" for hours and wouldn't even let me do anything else.

Deleted my account again, and if they try to steal money from me like in the other reviews on here they'll be hearing from my lawyer for sure.

SCAM!!! DON’T DO FREE SIGN UP

SCAM!!!! Stay away

Even if you sign up and cancel immediately they charge you several times after. I’ve tried cancelling, emailing and trying to get refunded (refused) this morning another £9 has been deducted. Now have to go through to my bank to reverse the charges .

Same thing happened to me, SCAM!

Same thing happened to me. I paid 99 cts online for one AI professional photo, got redirected to their app asking to suscribe for 9,99 a week! I contacted their support, all they sent me is a template explaining how to suscribe to their service on the app. I'll never see the picture i purchased. Thanks to the comments on this page, i went to my bank to realize the 99 cts is a suscription I never agreed to! I blocked the suscription with my bank app, hopefully 99 cts is all it cost me... SCAM!!

DO. NOT. PURCHASE. FROM. THEM!
You’ll have a sub standard product that promises the world but actually makes photos, especially portraits look fake not natural and you’ll have ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

please beware of using this app

Hello please beware of using this app. I downloaded it maybe 6 months ago and I never opened it again because it requires subscription and i realized since january they have been taking from 9.99$ somtimes it would be 3 days and sometimes every week??? what app takes 9.99 $ every 3 days?? It was happening until Jan-March. Keep in mind i never authorized these payments including that I always check my subscriptions to make sure im not subscribed to anything and it was never there on those months until later on i checked my bills realized i was losing more money than I should. I checked to see it in my subscriptions and it said unsubscribed march 18… I never even subscribed to unsubscribed nor was it even there when i checked those months! it’s weird i’ve never seen an app like that.

BEWARE

BEWARE. Was charged 9.99 per WEEK after my free trial instead of 9.99/month. Their advertising is absolutely deceitful and I had lost so much money to them. Still waiting on Google to determine if I can get a refund.

This is a Scam

This is a Scam - don’t touch

Tried free trail - cancel prior to the 24hr cut off - have been charged two weeks to date 9.99 per week - no none in their right mind would pay this amount for a month never mind per week !!

I’ve tried twice via web and by App to cancel - no confirmation of cancellation via email - only to find out a week later they have charged me - in Apple subscription you can’t even cancel it just states subscription ends eg 31st Aug but they take funds out weekly !!!

I’ve contacted them and Apple - obv no reply from this crowd of scammers

You have been warned

A scam!

This company does not accept an e-mail address when registrating for a free week’s trial. Therefore you can’t request a new password if authentication fails as the authentication is handled by Facebook, Google or Apple. In my case i choose Apple and they assigned a temporary e-mail address instead of my true Apple-ID address. All messages from remini.ai whas then forwarded by Apple to my Apple ID-mail. The bottom line was that I couldn’t login and cancel my trial subscription as my registered temporary address was not accepted for login at Apple. I then used remini.ai’s support form to send a message for cancelling and revoking of their rights to use my credit card. This company never bothered to read or confirm my message. Instead I received an e-mail saying that ”$9.99 payment to Remini Web was unsuccessful”.

One particular scam is that you must cancel your trial more than 24h before the trial week is over or being charged $9.99 for a new week. This is in their T&C’s but not informed about during the sign up process.

The quality of their service was very uneven. I did expect more as it sometimes did not enhance the pictures enough to be good. Also a picture of a woman with a dog in her lap gave the dog unexpected results looking like dirt or spider web in its face.

I contacted my bank, blocked my credit card and requested a new. That way remini.ai were unsuccessful scamming me.

Update: After writing repeated messages to remini.ai’s support there are still no answer. And the company keeps sending me reminders to pay. Of course they haven’t read any of my messages. I noticed another thread aboute a girl that had to pay for her first free trial. Thereafter no one responds to her claim for a refund. This is how Remini.ai acts. Their software aint that good either. Be careful!
