This issue has been ongoing for a long time, and management doesn’t seem interested in fixing it. My visit on March 18, 2026 just confirmed that nothing has changed.
Dialogues are too low, background music is also low, and songs have absolutely no punch. It’s a rare achievement to make every layer of audio equally underwhelming.
The entire experience feels like it’s coming through 20-year-old desktop speakers—flat, hollow, and completely lacking immersion.
For $22, I expected a theater-quality experience. Instead, I got something that my home setup easily outperforms.
At this point, this isn’t a one-time issue—it’s a known, ongoing problem that’s being ignored.
I’d genuinely like to hear from management:
• Are these audio systems being calibrated at all?
• Is anyone actually monitoring the experience in these auditoriums?
Because customers are definitely noticing.
Until this is fixed, it’s hard to justify paying premium prices for an experience that feels like a downgrade from home viewing.

Very polite and professional. He handled this situation perfectly. Refunded the entire amount of overpayment and was very sincere about getting to the bottom of why this occurred in the first place. I was stunned that someone even reached out, and less than 24 hours. So I would like to give a 5 star rating to Richard and Regal cinemas for handling this matter quickly. Thank you

Had to wait outside for theater to open. Late opening and made excuses when I asked why. It was very cold in the theater watching the movie. No heat on.
Too loud sound system …
The theatre was fine and the seating good but the sound was so loud we had to plug our ears when the sound effects came on such as music or other noises. I have never heard such a loud system. The people next to us left early because of it. We were in the theatre that was playing Marty Supreme. They really need to adjust the sound.

Order a popcorn bucket from their site,it was promised to be here before Christmas highlighted by a yellow bar on their sirecwhitch they now removed like the liars they are. I drove in the pouring rain 23 miles to go to see the Andre Ruie movie and was told to go in theater 4 when they showed it in a different theater.After 30 minutes of advertisement I realized it was the wrong room.No Apologies we're given.I will never ever go into a Regal Theater Again

Absolute proof that there is no reason to ever go back to any cinema anymore. Just had great movie (Nuremburg) but not worth the hazzle. Lloyd Center, Portland, used to be the top shopping mall in Oregon, now it's an abandoned wasteland. Theater on the perimeter is about the only thing there. Had to wait in line while young folks decided which icee to buy. Take note, NOWHERE does Regal tell you how much the movie ticket is. Not on line, not on a price board in the theater, NOWHERE. Then had to "select" our seats on a screen, I want to walk in and pick my seat. (there were four tickets sold in about a 400 seat room) Clean enough, comfortable enough, just no reason to do it. That movie will be available on one of my 400 plus channels back home, and hazzle just not worth the trouble.
Regal Cinemas company experience
Earlier this year, I had an Unlimited Membership that they offer to pay month by month for Unlimited movies. I was going to pause the Membership until I got an offer that it would be the monthly fee but per Year. When I decided to keep it due to being a great deal, they changed the terms and stated it was only for a month and wouldn't give a refund. They stated I needed to adhere to the agreement even though they didn't have to. And yes, I had proof of their error. Anyway, now when I try to go to the site to use my popcorn/drink pass that I paid for upfront, the app won't let me sign in AND the actual website states that "Sorry, you have been blocked" "You are unable to access regmovies.com". This company not only doesnt stand by their agreements but also blocks you from utilizing access simply out of spite....like a child.
This place has proven itself to be a sad excuse of a company and even more so at customer service.
I would like to add that this is NO reflection on the staff at the locations! They have always been wonderful!

When did it become 17.95 per person to go to a darn movie. Unreal a movie for 2 now is 100 dollar drop after 2, 10.00 dollar Pepsis and 13.00 for a microwave pizza and another 14.00 for a popcorn. It's ridiculous I'll wait til the future movies come out on stick.
Alamo draft house is 5.00 cheaper per person amd still does military discounts while serving really good fresh cooked food at good prices. Just fyi.

I received an email inviting me to get (up to two) free ticket(s) to the new movie, Sahar's Oil.
I signed into the app.
Sign into your Regal Crown Club account. Search for

If there is a search engine or an area to activate a search, I could not find it.
Therefore I was unable to get the free ticket(s).
Very disappointing and frustrating.
There were also things so scrunched up in the app that words were overlapping, making them impossible to read.
The app doesn't deserve a 1 star rating. It deserves a -5 star rating.

I really didn’t think it was fair at ALL how they ID for simple movies like The Conjuring. I didn’t have to get ID for Sinners (Which was ALSO a RATED R movie!) , and I went through a lot of trouble because of this stupid ID thing! If you know the movie is bad for younger people DO NOT BRING THEM! Simple as that. But as a girl who was just trying to see the last movie I shouldn’t have to go through all that trouble for a moi e that’s not even real… like it’s seriously NOT that serious. Promise you.
Harry Potter Popcorn Bucket
They did a horrible job with the Harry Potter popcorn bucket rollout. Looks like, for some reason, they didn't think the demand would be there. When you talk to their customer service, they said every location playing the movies would have them, but that turned out not to be true.
We drove an hour out of our way to one of those locations and their employees said they didn't know anything about the buckets. Then, then next day, we went to another location where they said yes we do have them, only to be told no we don't at the concessions counter. A 30$ bucket is selling online for over 150$, so I am pretty confident their own employees were keeping them to resell.
When you go back to talk to their customer service, they say to check their online store, which has never carried it. I've learned to not trust Regal and only go to local movie theaters from now on.
Do not trust Regal to know anything about their own promotions. Not in store and not through their phone or internet customer service.

This Regal Cinemas location is run by white supremacist idiots who talk down to anyone who isn't white. Amanda, general manager and Jeannie, deputy general manager have serious issues with customer service skills at this Regal Cinemas location. My first interaction with Amanda was her telling me to use the unsanitary, neglected water fountains instead of receiving a refill from the filtered drink machine at the concessions counter. One thing you will notice with Amanda is her disturbingly negligent hygiene. What appear to be rotting, brown teeth and extreme malodorous body odor are conspicuous issues with this general manager. You can smell her from just a few feet away. You will not want this unhygienic, uncivilzed woman serving you. That should tell you all you need to know about what to expect in regard to the cleanliness of this theater. Auditorium 4 is one of the stickiest and filthiest auditoriums in the building and you will feel like you need to bathe in bleach after entering.
The training for staff members is embarrassingly poor under Amanda and Jeannie's direction. One example is a new hire who thought it was a good idea to ask me to hand her a Regal Cinemas tablet because she was too lazy to come from behind the concessions counter to retrieve it herself. Apparently these managers didn't train her to understand that she is there to serve customers and not the other way around. This says a lot about the mentality of managers Amanda and Jeannie. They don't seem to realize that customers are the priority and not the problem. Without customers they have no business and without appropriate customer service they have no customer loyalty.
This Regal Cinemas location is extremely run-down and corporate refuses to make repairs or improvements. This has created a breeding ground for mold and pests. This is problematic for those with health issues or allergies. Many of the bathroom stalls and auditoriums smell of mold. I have entered a bathroom only to be greeted by a huge spider. Imagine being in a stall or even a theater chair (in the dark) and having this type of spider crawl over you. An image of this spider is attached.
A concerning issue is the fact that gloves and appropriate tools are not used when preparing drinks and orders of popcorn. I have routinely witnessed concessions associates using their bare hands to drag ice into cups. I have also routinely witnessed popcorn buckets being dragged through popcorn to fill the buckets. This is a serious issue as this leads to contamination of drinks and popcorn.
You are much better off making a trip to the nearby local theater near downtown Florence. From my experience, since the early 1990s, the customer service and prices are exceptional. You will pay less than half of what you will pay at this Regal Cinemas location and be treated with the utmost respect. You will know that your business and loyalty are valued.

for the last 9 months our regal theatre in salt lake city Utah has had a sign up for half price popcorn and 5.00 movie tickets on tuesday,every time i ask why they charge 7.50 their answer is corporate makes us keep up the sign and we cannot change. seems like false advertising to me
