  1. Wedding Service

Written by the company

Registry Perfect is a wedding registry that allows couples to choose when, where are how they receive their wedding presents, and get cash if they return those presents. We are a new type of registry called a ‘flexible registry’. Flexible registries maintain gift culture etiquette but give newlyweds full control over when and how they receive their gifts. In a flexible registry system, newlyweds are sent the gift recommendation that the buyer has selected for them along with the money to buy the gift. This means the newlyweds can buy the gifts whenever it is convenient for them, or if they chose to, keep the money that was sent along with the gift recommendation. Newlyweds have increasingly unpredictable lifestyles and may move around a lot, meaning that receiving gifts at wedding time doesn’t align with their needs. Many, many wedding gifts end up returned for store credit, which locks newlyweds into shopping at a specific store, and sometimes wedding gifts are just simply thrown away. The flexible registry gives newlyweds the ultimate flexibility they need while still allowing gift buyers to demonstrate their thoughtfulness and knowledge of the couple via the gift selection process.

I may have fallen for a scam.

I came across a recommendation for this website online and really liked the concept, so I signed up and created my registry. I had it for about two months, and the last time I checked, three guests had made “purchases.” I planned to withdraw the funds after the wedding.

After the wedding, another guest reached out to let us know that our registry website was down. At first, I didn’t think much of it, assuming it was just routine maintenance. However, it’s now been two weeks, and the site is still inaccessible.

Fortunately, it wasn’t a significant amount of money, but I’m disappointed. It looks like I may have fallen for a scam.

Made my registry experience easy!

Love the website and the idea! Having the flexibility to claim items from my registry is an awesome perk. Its so easy to add items from different stores like West Elm, Crate and Barrel, and Pottery Barn!
