Quick and efficient. Rapid response to initial enquiry, hardworking and well organised installation team, completed change from to old oil boiler to full heat pump system including changing virtually all the radiators in 3 days.
All looking good but as summer has now finally arrived can’t say how well the heating will work yet as not needed!

Regen Renewables contacted us on the back of a phone survey about eligibility for grant support. We had been considering an air source heat pump, and the initial conversation with Mark set out the options very clearly. Syndicating clients in a particular area made a significant reduction in the costs, and the size and layout of our house presented some challenges. The pump itself seemed big to start with, but it was located in the most sensible spot and now it looks as if it has always been there. The installation could not have been smoother -- everything was done and dusted (well, nearly; apart from a lot of brick dust!) inside two days. The guys who came to do the work told us it would all happen at once, and it did: they worked incredibly hard to have everything in place, up and running in the time they had given us. It was good to see James again when he came to inspect but the minor anxiety we had had was quickly resolved. Back up from the office and the technical director has been excellent.

Done a good Job from start to finish

I am a retired engineer and had been considering changing our reliable but inefficient 1960's cast iron Glow Worm boiler for many months. I approached three different companies who all came and conducted surveys. I had a number of technical queries arising from the quotes received, but only Regen Renewables answered my queries and visited to both answer the queries and make small changes to the design. It should be stated that the survey and installation were all carried out by experienced and competent engineers who overcame all practical difficulties, were helpful and informative and did a neat job.
The basic system was up and running in two days, partly due to me ensuring clear access to all radiators and the F&E tank in the loft.
Subsequent queries concerning the operation of the system were answered promptly.
Reports by Octopus indicated that the running costs of a Heat Pump System were similar to a modern Condenser gas boiler. I have yet to compare the running costs compared with my old inefficient gas boiler, but of course I have the potential to run the Heat Pump fan and pumps on electricity from solar power to reduce the running costs.

The only drawback has been the time it has taken for me to enlarge the airing cupboard to take the larger hot water cylinder, plus bricking up the old gas flue exit and boxing in the space which contained the old gas boiler, which now contains the new circulation pumps and control systems.

You should also be aware that alterations and additions to radiators, if needed, require the radiators to be 're-balanced' to ensure an equal and even flow of hot water in all the radiators. This is standard procedure for any radiator installation. This was another task I took on myself.

In my view the 'finishing off' and 'setting up' which I took on myself are beyond the scope of many customers, and they should be made aware of the need and help given to having the necessary trades on standby to get the house back in order.

Very over priced they give you an inflated costs then deduct the government grant and you end up with a price that other companies give you before take off the grant. Get other quotes before committing to these people.

I am writing this review 8 days after our initial apointment with Mark. He could not have been more helpful and gave us all the information we needed with regard to Air source heat pumps, it really was a very easy sell, which he did not have to push at all.

After signing up we had a survey the following day from Jimmy and then the install happened 5 days later. The installers James and Pete were excellent, they were cheerful, respectful and could not have been more helpful. They worked quickly and efficiently and we had the pump up and running on the afternoon of day 2. James took us through everything we needed to operate the system and we are now enjoying all the benefits.

From the very start I have been impressed with Regen Renewables. My first point of contact was with Graham Anderson who spent time with me helping me to understand the proposed package for my house, the benefits to this change and the price involved. I also had a visit from Jimmy Schofield who carried out the survey . Again this was handled efficiently and further reassured me that this was the path to follow.
Two weeks later the installation team arrived. Pete and James were cheerful, hardworking, clean and tidy in their work and were a real pleasure to have in my home. They gave me a clear and detailed guide as to how to manage this new system and when Pete and Jason returned a few days later to remove my old oil tank they took the time to answer any queries that had arisen and offered advice that I have found very useful.
I have also had several telephone conversations with Hannah in the office who has been unfailingly friendly, positive and efficient.
Ten days in and I am very happy with my new system. The house is cosy and warm much to the delight of my two cats, and to me. Thank you Regen Renewables.

Very processional survey and installation, willing to discuss and agree optional pipe and cable runs. The installation team worked really hard and efficiently achieving the installation in under two days. For us traditionalists used to a gas boiler with radiators it was a bit scary considering the negative comments you get about heat pumps, but the system works well.This company know how to make it work for you.

The team that installed the heat pump and equipment associated with it were really professional. They removed the old gas boiler, immersion heater and 10 radiators with no mess. They replaced the radiators with new more efficient ones and a larger hot water tank.
We didn’t even have to lift a paint brush!
Would highly recommend the system as the house has never felt as warm in the 24 years we have been here.

Regen have just installed an air source heat pump as I don't have a gas supply and I now have central heating for the first time in over 40 years. The installers were a credit to the company, all very polite and after four days installing they cleared up any mess from drilling etc. Would happily give more than five stars if it was possible

Very helpful in every way,no problems with fitting the boys who done the installation were excellent and friendly.

The whole process from initial consultation until the finished installation was efficient, smooth and dealt with by friendly, knowledgeable and courteous staff. Time was given at the time of survey for reassurance about any anxieties and the fitters worked hard and efficiently with a courteous respect for our home, addressing any issues and leaving the house clean and tidy. A good experience overall.

Pete james and curtis were three of the nicest lads ,came in and were so friendly the work was of a very high standard, every thing was explained in great detail .we cannot fault the company in any way everything ran smoothly from star to finish.

Very easy to get a quote, agree start date, and installation date. Late minor changes agreed which were improvements.

The fact that the whole end to end process, including assessment, new radiators, new tank and full installation are included in the price is a big plus. The installation team were polite and efficient and the system (on first impression) is wonderful.
Our only gripe was that the salesman seemed a little over keen, even telling us that we would only be without heat for a couple of hours when in fact it was overnight (Heaters were offered)

The guys that came to fit everything were really good and explained everything after they finished. We are still getting used to getting the right settings without using too much electricity, we changed our tarrif to help more but still finding it hard to get used to seeing the meter readings higher than normal as we had a solid fuel burner that ran the heating before. Things will be better when we get brighter days as we have solar panels which also help.
