Efficient and personalised service

Excellent and proactive service from James at FXRegency
James was great to work with. After transferring the funds, he kept me updated on the status and monitored the exchange rate as agreed. When he noticed the rate starting to trend downward, he quickly got in touch and suggested doing a partial exchange to bridge until there will hopefully be an upward movement in a couple of months. The exchange was handled efficiently and professionally, and the money arrived in the target account within hours. Really appreciate his proactive approach and fast service!

Rate drops as soon as they receive your money!
They provided a good rate over the phone on Monday (CAD$1.38 for 1 US), but as soon as they received my wired money the rate dropped by more than 3 points (just over $1.34)-- worse than the bank's rate. Even though the market exchange rate rose during this time period. There were no guarantees regarding how long it would take to receive this money back, and we didn't want to take the risk of it going past our closing date, so we just agreed to lose more than $3K on the exchange.
Bottom line -- it's my fault for trusting their 4.8 average score, instead of reading the individual 1-star reviews -- apparently this phenomenon is pretty common for them.
