Utterly unacceptable service – silence, delays, and empty complaints process

Extremely poor service marked by persistent lack of communication, missed deadlines, and inaccurate explanations. Emails and phone calls routinely went unanswered for weeks at a time, leaving us completely in the dark about progress.

We were repeatedly told delays were caused by the freeholder, only to later confirm directly that they had responded within the required timeframe and that this firm failed to act on or even record the response. The firm’s complaints process appeared to be little more than lip service, with no effective resolution or accountability. The prolonged delays caused us financial loss, including our mortgage reverting to a higher rate. We ultimately lost all confidence and were forced to instruct new solicitors. We would not recommend.

Unbelievably awful

I cannot fully express how horrendous an experience my husband and I had with Rees Page, and specifically Jim Murphy. We would go weeks at a time without any communication or any action being taken on our house sale. Important tasks were just ignored or never followed up on and we never knew what was going on. We were left scrambling 48 hours before the proposed exchange date, wondering if it was going to actually complete, because Jim Murphy would not return our calls.

This has been the worst experience in dealing with solicitors of our entire lives. Absolutely atrocious. I would give zero stars if it was an option.

Rees page solicitors are supposed to be…

Rees page solicitors are supposed to be a estate agents and solicitors. (Far from it) the trouble and the lies we encountered while selling our dad's property has been shocking. Don't waste your time with them go with a proper professional firm. Don't waste your money. And there are definitely a few things we will be looking into and seeking advice about.
