I’ve used Reeds Rains for the sale of all my houses over the years, and always had great service. Andy was brilliant with the valuation and market-ready process and Carole did brilliantly with the viewing.

very very unpleasent interraction, delaying the return of my deposit for no reason. Made me pay extra day of rent for making me return the keys in an office outside the city.... Now just holding my money without reason and kept telling me, we will sort it, we will sort it. Honestly I never heard of, or saw, a worse agent!!!

Really quick sale. Valuation spot on. We were kept informed throughout the process. Steve well informed of current market conditions in the area. Matt amenable and friendly. Adele did lots of chasing on our behalf. No complaints from us.

Disappointed I enquired about a property in Huddersfield to be told an offer had been accepted, they took my details anyway, I told them it was a cash purchase.
I passed the property this week it’s still up for sale but bids over an amount, which I’d have bought if they could have been bothered doing there job and contacting me.
On another property I placed a offer on I have now seen it sold for what I offered six weeks previous ,again nobody could be bothered getting back to me on this property( it was for quite a significant )amount, this was the Halifax branch I’m begin to wonder if it’s jobs for the boys
Since bought other properties elsewhere
Recent update I was wrong about the Halifax branch I was misinformed about what it sold for I have found out today it went for a lot more than I offered. I will contact Halifax branch to apologise, hands up to my mistake

I am sharing my terrible experience renting from ReedsRains Salford. I am hoping this helps intending tenants and give landlords an idea of what tenants are likely to go through when they give ReedsRains Salford their propoerty to manage.
I indicated interest in viewing one of their properties and my request was swiftly acknowledged and I did my viewing, sadly there was more to this propoerty than meets the eyes in just a few minutes of viewing .
I went through with the referencing process and was successful. Nick confirmed a move in date and I informed my previous landlord/agent, giving them 1 month notice as per their request.
Reedsrains had a whole month between when I finished my referencing and my move in date. In my head, what could go wrong. I packed up our lives in bags and boxes, paid for movers to come in on my move in date to move my stuffs. I then reached out to Nick a day before to confirm a time for key pick up as the movers needed to know and boom, Nick responds to me saying electrical certificate has failed and we needed to move our move in date. No apologies, no prior information, if I didnt send that message asking for time for key pick up, no body cared to reach out to inform me. Above all, no apologies (I want to believe that when you go through customer servive training you learn a thing or two about empathy).
Confused and not knowing what to do, I reach out to the movers who insist we pay an additional sum (50% of the moving fee paid to reschedule the move as it was past the 48 hr window). The agent for my old apartment was set to pick up their keys aswell. I went to the office, but Nick was now on leave and Courtney was having to handle the case.
I informed her of the situation and she made me aware that there was nothing that can be done, we had to move our move in date, no compensation for money that will be lost no alternate acommodation. Because I wasn't sure why in all of this no one was giving an apology I had to demand one from courtney who eventually gave them. Next, I asked to speak to their manager but he already left for the day, this was way before closing hours so I insisted they call him on the phone.
After all was said and done, Manager Ben eventually said we could bring in our furniture and bring back the keys to them. This was the only way for us not to lose our moving fee or have any issues with our current agent/landlord. We did this and had to sleep in the most uncomfortable state with two children for two nights while we waited for the electrical certificate and EICR issue to be resolved.
Nick now back from leave, straight to business no apologies for not doing his job. Final day to pick up key, I let Nick know I would be in the office in an hour to pick up the key, there was no word about the office being closed. I get there with my children in an uber, in the rain and the office is closed. With me moving, and dealing with children, I did not see an email saying the office would be closed, I mean I just spoke to Nick who didnt mention anything and wasnt expecting an email within that same hour in the middle of my move.
I had the uber drive us to the house, get out our stufs and leave them in the rain running to safety with my 2 kids under the rain. I asked that the key be brought to the house which was a few blocks away and NO, they made sure we came back to the office to pick them up.
Zero empathy
Zero accountability
Now in this beautiful acommodation, and our ordeal continues, damp wall with sewage smell, fallen blinds, door falling off. No one felt it was necessary to fix these visible issues before we moved in.

Tom and Leah were very supportive through the sale of my property and always very responsive and offered good advice throughout.
Would definitely recommend.
