Exceptional service from start to finish. This is my second time using Reeds Rains in Rye East Sussex to source a tenant, and Lydia delivered brilliantly once again by finding someone within weeks. Lydia is always available by phone or email and truly goes above and beyond. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Reeds Rains letting team!

Extremely poor communication – avoid if you value basic professionalism
We had a decent experience when this firm was still Neil Kays. Things were handled promptly and you actually got replies. That version of the company is gone. The drop-off since then has been sharp and frustrating.
Emails now routinely go unanswered. Follow-ups get the same treatment. There was no proper notification when contact details changed, so messages disappeared into the void while we assumed they were being dealt with. Simple queries about maintenance, tenancy matters or even confirmation that an email had been received were met with silence. You end up chasing, then chasing again, then wondering whether anyone is actually reading the inbox.
A letting agent’s core job includes keeping tenants and landlords informed. That basic standard is not being met. The contrast with how they operated as Neil Kays makes it worse — you know they used to be capable of it.
Would not recommend in their current form.
